Hello everyone! This’s Heather, the host on Saturdays, who can also speak Cantonese. I would like to let you all know that this will be my second to last pronunciation challenge. At the time of this recording, I have already left VoiceTube. I would like to thank you all for being a part of this wonderful community and encouraging each other to practice and record themselves saying featured sentence. And also for encouraging me and providing me advice and feedback on my hosting style and how I can become a better host.
On the last [[ side note]], where is the coldest place you’ve been to? Have you ever seen snow before? Today’s video is about one of the most northern places in the world, and why people cannot die and be buried there. Let’s first, go over the featured sentence and vocabulary words before I talk any more about this topic. Today’s sentence is: So these bodies buried in the Arctic permafrost potentially hold some of the clues that could stop a future global pandemic.

* What would you do if there was a pandemic?
Well, that’s it for today’s sentence and vocabulary words. Please make sure that you record yourself saying today’s sentence. I think the most northern or coldest place I’ve been to is Alaska. That was during the summer so it wasn’t as cold as I thought it would be. And in my own state Washington, I would say the coldest place is in Mount Rainier or Stevens Pass. Stevens Pass is an area, where people are able to go snow boarding and skiing. And Mount Rainier is one of the the more well known mountains near Seattle. And you can see it when you’re driving on the highways in Seattle.
Well, that’s it for today. Please look forward to my last pronunciation challenge next week. It will be about what I’ll be doing after leaving VoiceTube and before I look for my next job. See you next week!

Hi everyone! Where is the coldest place you've been to? I remember my cousins from Hong Kong told me they never saw snow until they immigrated to the U.S. Have you ever seen it snow before? Let me know in the comments below. And make sure to share the Pronunciation Challenge on social media and with your friends!
P.S. In case you didn't listen to my audio recording for the PC, this PC will be my second to last one! ;)
