+Thanks, Nina, for choosing this meaningful topic.
Usually, dead things decay and turn into rocks. Eventually, they are crushed, and extreme heat and pressure causes them to melt and emit the carbon, which is trapped underground. Over time, that trapped carbon eventually escapes([əˋskep]逃脫) into the atmosphere when volcanoes erupt([ɪˋrʌpt]爆發).

Hello VoiceTubers! This Nina. Welcome to today’s pronunciation challenge. How did you get to work or school today? If you live in Taipei or New Taipei, then I guess there is a high chance you took the MRT or bus just like I did. If you live in other cities or countries, then you probably have a different answer. Did you drive a car or ride a motorbike or bicycle ,or simply go on foot. I hope most people are using more eco-friendly method of transportation. Today’s video talks about how human activity has disrupted carbon cycle on Earth. I believe that modern transportation is one of the biggest causes. Therefore, if more and more people can choose a greener way of transition, this will surely contribute to our environment. In some big cities, the public transportation system is really convenient so we should all make better use it. Though, it might not be as fast as driving a car or riding a motorbike on your own. Further save our planet, we need to make some changes sooner than later. If you’re riding a motorbike every day, try to use public transportation at least two times a week.
Don’t underestimate([ˋʌndɚˋɛstə͵met] 低估v.) the power accumulated with small changes.
If driving cars or riding motorbikes is your only option, try to use electric vehicles or car pooling(共乘). These things might not be easy to achieve at first, but it’s not impossible. We just need to have determination([dɪ͵tɝməˋneʃən]決心). Let’s do our best together.
