Actually I'm trying to eat healthier lately.

No, I'm just watching what I eat and exercising regularly.

Did you hear the question tags in the dialogue?

A question tag is a short question at the end of a statement.

In this example, the question tag is, don't you?

Marta is almost certain Kevin likes pizza, but she wants to be sure.

Now, watch the same example, but listen to how Marta says the question tag.

Question tags are said with rising intonation, don't you?

We use rising intonation if we think we know the answer, but want to check, just in case.

Falling intonation is used when we are very certain that we are correct.

But, in this case, Marta was wrong, unfortunately.

I'm so glad you're coming to my dinner party on Saturday.

Yeah, I was at your birthday party last year.

Honey, look at this poor kitten we found on the street.

In the examples you saw, the first half of the sentence is positive and the question Falling intonation has the same meaning.

But with rising intonation, I'm not sure about the answer.

Mom, I need someone to watch the kids on Saturday.

The last thing you need to know is that question tags always use auxiliary verbs and modal verbs.
