Hi everyone! This’s your host, Estelle. Happy Monday! Though, it’s quite hard to be happy on Mondays. I know it all too well(眾所周知), especially since this week Monday means that I have to face a horrible week of midterm exam.
Anyways, how was your weekend? Did you guys make the most of your time napping in bed to make-up all your energy you lost of the past week? Or did you finally have time to catch up with your favorite television series? Doing these things sounds like an ideal weekend, doesn’t it?
However, according to today’s video, we should spend less time napping and watching TV if you want to win at the game of life. Instead, we should just spend our free time exercising, reading, meditating, and pursuing hobbies.

A list is a simple series of words or numeral([ˋnjumərəl] n.數字).

Santa Claus is coming to town. Christmas is almost around the corner, but anyways, in today’s sentence, list is used as a verb, which means to make a list of something or to include something on a list.

2-1. task [tæsk ] (n.)差事,工作
A task is usually assigned piece of work often to be finished within a certain time.

A task can also be something hard or unpleasant that has to be done.
* The director’s is given the task of unifying the entire department.

It means to add something to something else to make it larger or better, or to add or serve as a supplement to something.

Yeah, I also agreed that passion is really important. And it leads us through our lives. Although, many of you may already be working at a job you may not like, you can still make time for your hobbies to make yourselves happier. Well, I feel like lately I’ve been swamped(淹沒) by school and work, and I hardly have time and energy to do what I enjoy doing other than being a couch potato.
