Note of English version:

… It’s an awesome day for you but not a very awesome day for me. So as you can hear, my voice is mess-up and I’m pretty sick because of all that pressure from life and everything, and I have a fever. So to cut to the chase(追逐), let’s check out today’s video, What If You Never Got Out Of Bed. I know a lot of times when you wake up in the morning, you’re just so tired and you would ask yourself, what if I never get out of bed. Just like don’t do anything, just stay in bed. Sounds appealing, but as you know, it’s not good for your health, it’s bad. So let’s check out today’s video and learn a little bit more about this topic. Okay, now it’s time for our sentence of the day, here we go. “For every week in bed, you lose about 1% of your bone destiny, making your bones more brittle and easy to fracture.”

1. density [ˋdɛnsətɪ] (n.)(人口等的) 密度
Normally you would use high or low to describe the density, you wouldn’t say the density is big or small. You would use high and low.
*Aluminum(鋁) is low in density.

+ the meanings of density
1)(人口等的) 密度 the number of people or things in a place when compared with the size of the place.
2)(物質的)密度 the relationship between the mass of a substance and its size.

2. brittle [ˋbrɪt!] (adj.)易碎的;脆的
It means delicate(精美的) and easily broken.
*As you get older, your bones become increasingly(漸增地) brittle.
As the video if you don’t excise, if you don’t get out of bed, that’s gonna happen to your bones as well.

Brittle can be as a noun. Often times, you hear this kinda food or dessert or snack, it’s called Honey Brittle. Basically, you boil honey and sugar, and then you add some peanuts, almonds, you pour that mixture on a baking sheet, when it is hardened(變硬的) and cools down, you get brittle. It’s crispy and crunchy and super sweet. Though I don’t think I’ve ever tried one or freshly made ones, but I would love to try on this year. I know it’s holiday special and it’s almost Christmas, yes, after September, it’s Christmas and I just can’t wait. If you wanna know what Honey Brittle is, you can go search for recipes online and make it yourself this year.
Like I said, it’s kinda short episode today, ‘cause it’s really hard for me to breathe and not to mention talking. So we’re gonna move on our final word which fracture.

3. fracture [ˋfræktʃɚ] (v.)(使) (骨頭等硬物) 破裂;(使) 斷裂;(使) 折斷
If something hard, such as a bone fractures, or is fractured, it breaks or cracks. Or you can also use it as a noun, it would be a break or crack in something hard , especially a bone.
* I fractured my ribs(肋骨) when I fell off the bike. = I broke the ribs.

Or sometimes if you hear bone fracture, that means your bone is broken. You don’t have to say broken arm anymore, there’s a different way of saying it, you can say bone fracture.
