There are a lot of nutritional deficiencies that can play a role in hair loss.

Now you can see a dermatologist or a functional medicine specialist and have them draw labs to see what deficiencies you may have.

One specific cause of hair loss is alopecia areata.

And this is an autoimmune condition where you lose your hair in clumps and this can result in bald patches on the scalp.

Well, sometimes it can cause total scalp hair loss, but more often it shows up as patchy areas.

Topical steroids or steroid creams can help,

But if you don't have access to guided meditation, here's a very simple way to do it.

Start by sitting cross legged in a quiet place.

Set a timer on your phone for 10 minutes.

And then take a few deep breaths and then just pay attention to your breathing.

But gently bring your focus back to your breath each time your mind wanders away.

Now, when the 10 minutes are up, you're done.

Now, if you do it regularly, I bet you'll notice changes in your stress levels, your sleep and even more.

And hopefully, you don't have a dog like my Tinkerbell.

Every time I'm about five minutes into meditating, she walks up to me and starts licking my legs.

It's seriously hard to meditate when someone won't stop licking your leg.
