NOTE:
Today, we’re going to talk about lies. Sounds exciting, right? Actually, lies are part of our daily lives. Recent study conducted by university of Massachusetts shows that 60% of people lie at least once in a 10-minute conversation, within average of telling 2 to 3 lies. We live by lies and we’re all liars by nature. But it seems to be more unacceptable is [after liars] happen to be a President of a nation, or simply, politicians.
In this video, several examples were mentioned. US President like Nixon, Obama, Clinton, and Trump have all been called liars throughout history. However, the video tries to overthrow(推翻) the simple [label] of being liar by clarifying the difference between a lie, a mistake, and nonsense.

4-4. untrue (adj.) 不真實的,虛假的

In the era of information overload, we need to be more careful about the news we read, the articles we share, and words we say. It’s very important to be able to distinguish(辨別) facts from false with misleading information that might seem to be true. I would encourage everyone including myself to stop being gullible.
