My given name is Milana and my surname is Zaharava.

For part one, I will ask you a couple of questions to get to know you better and some questions on a general topic.

I'm currently reside in a quaint apartment by myself in Kazan.

I like that my ceiling is very high around 5 meters and it's very airy and has a spacious feelings as well.

My home is well built, it stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

I'm just few minutes walk away from most amenities.

This will help you figure out what you need to do when you sit your IELTS exam.

I'm always the one who cooking in my home since I'm bachelorette in some sense.

I like it because I make what I want and when I want so I'm quite flexible.

But it would certainly be nice if someone make me a dish at times.

I would say 95% of the time this month I actually haven't been out even once.

I enjoy going to restaurant for celebrating like birthday party because I can relax and enjoy company and food instead of worrying about having to cook and clean up.

Do you think it is important to learn to cook?

Cooking is a life skill and it is necessary to learning growing up so I can live happy and healthy life.

Tasty food is not only important for the body, but it's also important for the soul.

It is kind of like a pancake and it was a good way to start my day.

Has your eating habit changed in the past few years?

I have been eating healthier than ever before.

Couple years back I ate a lot of sweets but nowadays I keep it in a minimum and my energy level has been much better.

Also I have lost the weight and I feel really good about myself.

If you could make one food free for everyone, what would it be and why?

Maybe blueberries, because it is a superfood, is both very healthy and very tasty.

I think people would really appreciate it if they could eat blueberries for free year round.

IELTS speaking is assessed according to the publicly available IELTS speaking marking criteria fluency and coherence, grammatical range and accuracy, lexical resource and pronunciation.

IELTS examiners get extensive training on measuring a student's ability to speak and communicate in the English language.

I will give you some of the insights into the way that the examiners think to give you that final speaking score.

First, IELTS examiners measure how coherent your language is.

This means how well they can understand what you're saying and how accurate your answers are for these questions.

Second, they measure the complexity of your language meaning.

Are you able to use advanced vocabulary and advanced grammar to to better express yourself for the given topics now?

Third, they also measure how natural your language is, meaning how close do you sound to a native English speaker?

Do you use appropriate words for the context?

Finally, your overall band score is an amalgamation of these three coherent, complex, and

natural Language Measuring speaking ability is tricky business.

And that's why different examiners will at times give different scores.

But those scores will be relatively close, usually only half a band apart.

This means that the candidate is able to speak fluently without too many awkward stops or pauses to think about vocabulary or grammar.

Does this mean that they never stop speaking?

Oftentimes we have to take natural pauses to think about content.

Band 7 is a good user of the English language.

This means that a Band 7 candidate can select or appropriate words and grammar to better express themselves.

A band aid is a very good user of the English language.

This means the candidate rarely makes mistakes and is able to use the language dynamically.

Finally, that coveted Band 9 expert user means that the candidate is able to speak with powerful words, emphasis convincing information to not only convey but empathize and convince the audience of ideas.

Keep this in mind when you are assessing Malana in her speaking parts.

You can take notes in this one minute you have your note paper and your pen in front of you and then you will have one to two minutes to speak.

A great place to encounter new faces is Kazan Federal University in my city.

It is a big city with over 40,000 international students, so there are a lot of opportunities to meet new friends and network with others.

This university is not far from the Volga and Kazanka river and is made up of several buildings in the heart of Kazan and around the city.

Some buildings are quite modern while others old and historic.

One of the iconic building is the white on the exterior with large pillars at the front.

There are thousands of different programs at the university ranging from archaeology to law and sociology.

Student body is made up of young adults as well as mature students, professors and scientists.

I guess I can say that people from all walks of life go there, including 10,000 international students.

There are hundreds of different activities like cultural club, sport, dance, art and theater.

It is a great place to meet people because whatever personal interest, they are sure to meet new friends with similar pursuits and find common ground for discussion.

I personally love to dance, especially jazz Ballin and I have met several friends from University's dance club.
