I'm going to show you how to have the best day in Cartagena.

Cartagena is one of the most energetic, beautiful and historic cities on the Caribbean coast.

We have a lot planned, so just try to keep up.

I'm currently walking past El Came de los Martires.

Right in front of the walkway, you're gonna find the clock tower.

This beautiful monument is 30 meters and it dates back to the 17th century.

If you come to Cartagena, you have to make sure that you eat out on the streets.

I'm gonna have arepa huevo, which I highly recommend.

This is a very vibrant square and it is fully surrounded by colonial architecture.

If you need a minute to see, sit down and cool down.

We just got to Castillo San Felipe de Barajas.

It was declared by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites.

This is Getsemani, Cartagena's most colorful neighborhood.

Cartagena is a city full of music, and Champeta is how its heartbeat sounds.

Champeta originated in Afro Colombian communities in Cartagena and Palenque.

So this is a very significant place to come and take these lessons.

It is a mixture of Afro Caribbean and other Latin rhythms.

So here at Basurto market, you're gonna find a lot of different flavors and a lot of different food cooked by Matronas, which to me are the safeguards of culinary traditions in Colombia.

I get so happy when I get to eat deep fried fish, my favorite thing in the world.

Now that we've eaten, I'm craving some be time.

I'm at Paue, my favorite beach right outside of Cartagena.

I love coming here because you can get these clear waters and amazing views.

It is located within Rosario Islands, a national park and one of the most important ones we have here in Colombia.

There are a couple of activities that you could do here to enjoy your day and spend your times.

I love buying directly from the local artisans because that's an incredible way to support the local economy.

I could spend all day out here on the water, but

I want you to see one of the most creative food experiences in the world.

I'm at Celele, one of my favorite restaurants in Cartagena.

To me it's more like an experience of edible art instead of just food.

The ingredients that are used for these dishes.

Instead of local farmers trying to replace what they grow, they go ahead and they use what naturally grows within a given ecosystem.

In the Caribbean, I love the coconut sorbet with the delicate Flor de Moore on top.

We're gonna start the night at El Barron, a beautiful bar right in front of San Pedro Claver Chur.

A friend of mine is going to join me there.

It is one of the very few places where you get to enjoy amazing drinks in one of these iconic plazas.

Nightlife as seen in Cartagena is absolutely exciting.

During several years it's been part of the world's best 50 bars.

I love it here because you can have some good food, dance or drinks.

They are well known for their signature cocktails using local products.
