Writing is difficult in English because you have to really pay attention to all the rules.

Whether you're writing for your IELTS test or your celpic test or essays for school, it can get boring.

And you don't want to practice writing essays.

So I have a writing workshop where I send you fun things to write about.

These are called journal prompts or writing prompts.

It's not like, talk about your last summer vacation.

The writing prompt that I chose today was something strange that happened to you, which I'm sure you have tons of those.

So in my writing workshop, you are going to write your prompts.

So the writing prompt, as I said, was something strange that happened to you.

Now I'm making this really short and sweet just so you can see the major errors that I see with my students writing.

So let's read it and tell me if you can find the errors.

Nobody takes one piece of chicken except for one girl.

I was sitting at the park having a lovely picnic with a box of Jollibee chicken.

And a girl comes up and she says, oh, hey, can I pet your dog?

My friend, being the super nice guy that he is, says, hey or no.

She said, hey, you guys got jollibee chicken.

My friend's like, hey, do you want some chicken?

Now most people would go, oh, no, no, no.

We want the chicken, but we would never take it.

She, God bless her, on the other hand, comes like, I would love some chicken.

So she dips her hand in the bucket, takes out A piece.

So she takes two pieces of chicken and saunters off.

She was the happiest girl in the park because someone gave her chicken.

If someone offers you chicken, which is weird, and you really want it, we're like, no, no thanks.

But to take two pieces, that's where the funny thing comes in.

So now that you've had time to think about these sentences, let's go through and correct them.

I have to tell people time and time again, is as soon as you start a sentence, you have to use a capital or a big letter.

So every start of a sentence must have a capital letter.

But in a sentence, I must also always be capitalized.

I guess it's like I'm super important, so I get to be a capital.

So for this one, we would have to use an article.

This is an example of a sentence that's too long.

If you can think of it like this, one sentence could have maximum two ideas.

But in the first introduction sentence, yesterday I was at a park.

Let's put a period there and finish the sentence.

Because if I say, yesterday I was at a park, five girls start talking with me.

Okay, now, as I told you, because we start a new sentence, you must make the first word capital.
