… To answer the question I asked at the beginning of the pronunciation challenge. I personally prefer tequila, whiskey, and brandy. Beer is also okay but I prefer lighter beers like [[? Liqueur]] which you can commonly find in Asia. On the other hand, the Pacific Northwest or where I’m from in Seattle often make or brew(釀造) [[ IPS which are Indian? ]] , they are usually more bitter and dark.
An interesting thing that I’ve noticed is that many Asian people have something called “ Asian glow” (亞洲紅臉症) which one their face turns red when they drink alcohol.
And many are “ light weight drinkers” meaning they drink very little and they will become drunk.
And lastly for people like this, they are what some people call “a cheap date“, which is not to mean anything negative from the word cheap. It just means that if you go out a date with them, you don’t have to spend a lot of money paying for their alcohol.
I wonder if this research was done to persuade people to drink more.
My family in Seattle actually has an area where they store different kinds of alcohols. And that’ve noticed that if I have a very terrible cough even after I’ve tried talking medicine, sleep more, eating better, if none of those work, I’ve tried drinking whiskey, and it usually kills it within a few days.
Wait, so I’m not trying to convince anyone to drink whiskey, but I am saying that it does have some kind of a medicinal effect that I can’t really explain.
Well, that’s it. Please drink responsibly, don’t drink and drive.
Thanks for listening and please record yourself saying the featured sentence. I look forward to seeing your replies for this pronunciation challenge.
I wonder what kind of alcohols you like to drink, or which one you’re curious about.
