... Today’s video is about the myths that everyone keeps about food. Take me for example, I always add salt when I cook noodles. However, according to the video, it doesn’t cook them faster like I thought it would. If you cook by yourself then you must watch today’s video to learn more about how to correctly handle your food. Alright, let’s look at today’s sentence.

And if you work in the time it takes to ship, label, and get placed in the store, many of your cherished veggies are already on their way out when you buy them.

Label is a verb, the definition is to fix a label to or to describe or [[? with or as it with a label]].
*The manager asked the intern to within an hour label all the boxes.

You can use label as a noun. It means a piece of paper or other material that gives you information about the object that is attached to.
Or a word or a phrase that is used to describe the characteristics or qualities of people, activities ,or things , often in a way that is unfair.
When we use label as a noun, sometimes we will add the verb attach along with it.
More examples for the noun label, the first one is “private label brands”. And another one is “record label “. Like the one that DJ Martin Garrix founded is STMPD RCRDS (stamped records).

Ship is a verb. And everyone knows that ship is a noun refers to sailing vessel. You can say to board a ship.
But in today’s video, ship is a verb, the definition is to send some, usually a large object or a large quantity of objects or people, to a place far away.

*In some countries, if you ship the drugs that are worth more than one million then you will be sentenced to life in prison.

There’s another interesting meaning for ship is from the word relationship means that you want two people to become a couple, so it’s from fan fiction (同人小說)

*I’m definitely shipping Camela and Shawn.

Cherished is a adjective, it means bringing the pleasure of love or caring about someone or something that is important to you.

*The newborn baby is now the most cherished kid in our entire family.

Cherish is a verb, meaning to keep or cultivate with care and affection.
e.g. to cherish one’s marriage
to cherish freedom of speech

The second definition for the word cherish is to hold dear, feel or show affection for.
e.g. to cherish one’s friends

There’s another meaning is to entertain or [[? and the mind deeply and?]]
e.g. to cherish the memory

… l always put bread in my fridge after I buy it. However, it truly affects the taste and texture of the bread. So I’m really grateful for today’s video. Even though l cook sometimes, there are still a bunch of things that I didn’t know about.

How do you usually store your food?
