What do we want? Justice!
When do we want it? Now!
Tens of thousands of students in cities around the world skipped school on March 15th to urge the adults in their lives to do something about climate change.
What do we want? Change!
[indistinct talking]
Hey-hey, ho-ho, climate change has got to go!
Hey-hey, ho-ho.
[cheers and applause]
From Berlin to Washington, D.C., and beyond.
Hoards of young people took to the streets, warning about the perils of ignoring environmental issues.
In several languages, their signs proclaimed "there's no planet B", a phrase used by French President Emmanuel Macron while speaking to members of Congress about the Paris climate accords last April.
The movement behind the protests began with one Swedish teen, Greta Thunberg, who protested on her own before sparking these far-reaching demonstrations.
Adults attended the rallies.

[crowd chanting, drumming]
