Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles - From robots to crazy drones shaped like eggs, 8K TVs and everything else you wanted to see, these are the craziest gadgets of the Consumer Electronics Show 2017. Hi, I'm the YouTube deal guy Matt Granite, I'm here for you every day to find huge deals, and I, at this present moment, other than a few members of the janitorial staff at the Consumer Electronics Show who've been lovely, and my friend holding this camera, I am the only reporter in the world on the floor of the Consumer Electronics Show. What does that mean? That means I can run around, I can make as much noise, there is no one else here, other than security. Just between us, I think someone made a mistake on a list and I got full clearance to everything. So I'm gonna take you on a bit of a tour right now, and for those of you who watch me regularly, you know that I find huge deals and I give everything I test away free to subscribers. We're not gonna have a giveaway today. We're gonna have a giveaway in tomorrow's video, which is gonna include some really amazing streaming wireless cameras. I just can't afford to give away what I'm gonna show you. I wanna start with robots. A huge thing at the Consumer Electronics Show, and the one beside me, which we tried to use, which I may die if I continue to try and use, is just an example of some of the mechanics at play this year. Things are getting physically larger. What would you do with this robot? A lot of them are being used in different engineering settings, aerospace. And while that trend is very pronounced this year, and I am gonna show you a drone shaped like a giant egg and a few other crazy things, the household-style robots and a smaller model that doubles as what you would find in an industrial or commercial setting, are another big thing this year. The robots you see over here are able to interact, they have facial recognition, and they move very similar to some of the Segways that I've had a chance to ride this year. Would you want this? Do you need it? No, it's one of the craziest gadgets I've seen. I actually had a chance to interact with a smaller robot, a sibling right here, and I just want to show you our interaction. - [Matt] Hi, nice to meet you! - Nice to meet you. - [Matt] How are you? Are you having a good Consumer Electronics Show? - [Matt] We even posed for a selfie together, to make my wife jealous, and I thought it was great, so that was fun. The other crazy trend, before I get to the egg-shaped drone, is 8K televisions. It was a phenomenon last year, it's becoming a little bit more pronounced this year. If you take a look over here, this is just an example of the continuing trends within the television world. Another trend which is interesting are weatherproof televisions. Again, for those of you that live in climates where maybe you want a TV outside or beside a pool or a hot tub, or maybe one in your bathroom, that is a bit of a trend this year that we are seeing, and of course, I'm gonna be sourcing deals on these. A lot of focus on automobiles, and actually, the display that I'm part of right now has a souped-up RV, with giant speakers, a helicopter on the roof, and LED panels. Because why not? This would really mess with a campsite, and I think that helicopter's just so people like me will stand under it and take photos, but a really interesting phenomenon within this Consumer Electronics Show. There's also a huge focus on health at the Consumer Electronics Show this year. That was no different last year or the year before, but some of the very high-tech items that caught my eye, one item in particular, and again, if you look at me you know that I am not exactly the epitome of fitness, in fact I'm against working out, but there's a system we found this year where you breathe into what is essentially a tube, and the system immediately calibrates when you are at your best to lose weight. We all have different times of the day where our metabolism is working differently. This helps you identify that particular point where you are in your best place to lose weight. Cool system. And did I mention I'm the only person in the Consumer Electronics Show right now? So we can walk around, we can do whatever we want. For all the amazing subscribers right now, I wanna thank you guys. I don't know if I articulate enough what you guys mean to me and how we're growing together. I'm very new to YouTube, and this channel's growing quickly. I know a lot of you are here just for the giveaways. I know. Most of you are here to save money. But I realize that you're all here for me, which has been so phenomenal and I wanna thank you guys for that as we move on to one of the big requests I got, which happens to be drones. On the drone front, and again located right under this video screen there's a drone which I think is an all-encompassing value for under $100. I also found a drone for under $30 which I'm gonna show you in a moment, which flew reasonably well considering it was one of those pocket drones, but of the big bad boys, this is not what I thought was exciting this year. There's a drone shaped like an egg. And I can't fly this in here legally, nor could anyone get it off the ground to show you, but we do have this video of what we saw tested outside. It's pitch-black right now, so I'm gonna show this video to you. This drone is optimized for size and expandability. Basically, it is a drone that travels a little bit more easily than some of the other ones because it's shaped like a giant egg. Is it more aerodynamic? Apparently. And it is so cool! It's one of the few items that you can actually find for pre-order right now. There is a link right under this video screen if you do want to see how much it is. Would I spend $1200 on this? Absolutely not! But, again, I did find that under $100 alternative, which has a great camera and all these other features. It's compatible with the Go-Pro, and I also found that under $35 option. This is what it looks like. So those are just some of the craziest gadgets that I've seen at the Consumer Electronics Show, and I know I have a list and it's building, and many of the other crazy items I found that we didn't have a chance to fit into this video you will see in the coming weeks. I'm also gonna find a lot of deals on those. For all the great tech at lower than Wal-Mart prices, my next upload is gonna feature on deals you can buy right now that will not only improve your life technically, but perhaps lower your jaw just a little bit as mine was practically on the floor for a couple of the items that I will show you. I'm so excited! Thank you for being here with me, and if you need a little bit of help turning on your notifications to make sure you never miss another deal or a giveaway, there's a very easy way to make that happen. - Hey everyone!
