I'm heading into town by the station to try to find a place with some food and wi-fi

For some reason the wi-fi was down at the lodge here

Finished some work for a deadline this afternoon

Now I'm going to jump on the local train which will take me to the shinkansen

I'd say Nikko is an awesome, quick break from Tokyo

It only takes about 2.5 to 3 hours to get here

And you want to have the Kyoto sort of atmosphere

I had to sit out two episodes of the vlog because I was just so tired

Keep in mind that I'm doing the editing of the videos

So for me it's often almost an entire day of filming

and then almost an entire night of editing

So we might have to change things up a bit from time to time to give ourselves some more breathing space

Especially doing the like double vlog every day

Today I'll meet two YouTubers based in Korea

This guest house I'm staying in has an option of food delivery from nearby restaurants

So I got spicy chicken stew which is amazing

I got myself a bento for the way back because it's socially acceptable to eat on shinkansen trains

On most other trains, you're not supposed to eat

The JR company is the company that operates the shinkansen trains

There's like the one-week, two-week, one-month

This is one of the few passes I've seen that allows you to get on the shinkansen while being a visa-holder in Japan

This pass covers the area from all the way up to just past Nikko

It's only about 8,700 (correction, 8,300)JPY

So it's much cheaper than paying for the one-week or two-week JR passes

and that's how you get in and out of the shinkansen

Here you have soap, water and a blow dryer

We're going to a French, Hawaiian, Korean fusion place

omg, that's not a Korean-sized serving, that's a huge ass salad

You put three people with YouTube channels at the same table

and everybody is taking video of everybody else filming food

What's with the side of wasabi and soy sauce?

So this is like kimbap pizza so we have sea weed underneath

And then rice in the middle and then cheese

It's not bad but it's, my brain doesn't have any idea what it's eating right now

They're fast, comfortable, reliable, on time, clean

and you don't have to go through security

If I could travel everywhere by shinkansen, I'd be a very happy person

This is such a huge change from where I was just two hours ago

Well I guess it's a good thing I didn't leave my umbrella behind in Nikko

Living in Shibuya will really make you appreciate the countryside

It's been like three minutes since I arrived in Shibuya and I would gladly go back

And the cosmetic industry in Korea, it's very weird, right?
