How are you getting on with the phrasal verbs? Are you picking them up easily enough?
Or do you think you need to go over them and practise them a bit more?
Hello and welcome everyone. This is Minoo at Anglo-Link.
First of all, a huge thank you to all of you who have been watching my 'Phrasal Verbs' series
and have posted comments and questions for me.
Some of you have asked for the transcripts of the dialogues and the exercises.
And, some of you have asked for more exercises
to help your assimilation. So what I have done
is that I have published the whole series as a complete course
and I've included the PDF transcripts
and some more audio exercises for you.
So, if you're interested and would like to sign up for the course
make sure you use the link in the description box below
to benefit from a 30% special discount.
There is a limited number of discount coupons available.
So, do act soon. Now, if you're wondering if you need this course or not,
I thought we could do a quick quiz together to test your assimilation.
I'm going to give you 15 sentences to complete with a phrasal verb.
You will see the non-phrasal synonym,
and the test is how quickly you can come up with a
phrasal synonym.
So, when you're ready, let's begin.
Phrasal Verbs Quiz
Complete the following sentences
with the most appropriate phrasal verb.
So, how did you get on?
I hope you did really well. However,
if you were hesitating about which verb completes each sentence,
then I think my new course will be useful for you.
Remember that, although you can often find a non-phrasal synonym
or describe the idea in a different way, there are three good reasons
why learning phrasal verbs is worth the effort.
Firstly, they are an integral part
of the English language.
Secondly, as you know, native speakers
use them all the time.
So, if you want to be able to understand native speakers easily,
you do need to know your phrasal verbs.
And finally, you will sound a lot more natural yourself
when you speak if you use phrasal verbs.
So, if you're ready to take up the challenge and brush up on your phrasal verbs with me,
sign up for the course using this link or the link in the description box below,
so you can get your 30 percent discount. Thank you all once
again for all your support and feedback. I look forward to seeing you
on the course or in my next video. Bye now!
