  • yep yeah, for all of our audience who doesn't know what Newsline is well

  • Newsline is..it's about the news, reading the news but it's all in English

  • and it's on NBT channel yep so you graduated in Chulalongkorn University

  • and you've been studying in Thailand Why did you decide to pursue

  • a career in English newscasting and also you finish in

  • political science and international relations Rather than

  • journalism or mass media but you decide to do

  • English newscasting for Newsline, why is that? Well actually I was quite

  • interested in journalism and news since I was in like..

  • year 8..year 9 I actually had work experience in Australia while I was living there

  • Ah..for the school work experience and when I came back to Thailand

  • in Mathayom 5. Yes I also did some

  • training work experience at NBT Newsline where I'm doing now

  • and I talked to Mr.Kitti, the boss of Newsline, and said

  • well if I want to be a news reporter, what kind of study should I do at that moment

  • and he recommended International Relations so..

  • I'm following that path yeah.. To keep up to date with all the news

  • around the world Yeah, exactly, cos political science

  • You're more inform with the knowledge Say you're reading the news

  • You have to know the

  • knowledge behind it, so I thought that's a good idea and political science is very

  • broad with lots of topics and subjects

  • so how are you finding it so far your experiences working for years line

  • good good, well, its very early in the morning I have to start working at 5am

  • but..yeah it's very early but.. You must wake up at like 4am, right?

  • Yeah, something like that Some people still sleeping But it's very challenging

  • because everyday I have to

  • updated with the news and

  • I have to think about what words to use and

  • It gets you thinking a lot So I find it challenging

  • Most importantly, you do something that you love as well, is that right? Yeah, yep

  • and it's really good for skills, I think.

  • Now..ah..as I said before

  • get that position

  • well..actually, it was like a competition so I had to go through a process of

  • selection from like..

  • 30,000 people sending their clips in. The judges choosing two hundred

  • from 200 going into a panel of judges picking

  • eighty..from eighty to a stage of 30 going to camps and then for the selection

  • process

  • there was like a big stage. So, what was this challenge called?

  • It was like search for the brand ambassador Double A I girls

  • international girls

  • so there with three thousands and then down to 8

  • and you're 1 in the 8, right?

  • Yes Amazing! Congratulations! How did you get in so far? I mean what what did they

  • look at, what qualities did they search for that you had?

  • Well, out of the eight people

  • I think they look so different all types of qualities, some people

  • very talented at language can speak a few languages,

  • some people had a beautiful presentation skills

  • some people look like supermodels and I'm not very tall so..
