Is there anything that the gorgeous Emma Watson can't do?

As well as a successful acting career behind her, the star's also become a UN ambassador

promoting women's rights.

She's raising awareness of the HeForShe campaign, which encourages men and boys to speak out

in support of gender equality, and she spoke at the United Nations about the initiative.

You might be thinking, 'Who is this Harry Potter girl and what is she doing speaking

at the U.N?' And it's a really good question; I've been asking myself the same thing. All

I know is that I care about this problem and I want to make it better. I was appointed

as Goodwill Ambassador for U.N. Women six months ago. And the more I've spoken about

feminism the more I have realised that fighting for women's rights has too often become synonymous

with man-hating.

And I think it is right that I'm paid the same as my male counterparts. I think

it is right that I should be able to make decisions about my own body.

If we stop defining each other by what we are not

and start defining ourselves by who we are — we can all be freer.

and this is what HeForShe is about.

The star is the first goodwill ambassador to be appointed for UN women and her

good natures goes beyond that as well. Over the last few years she's been involved in

the promotion of girls' education, having visited Bangladesh and Zambia. Oh Emma we
