When you come to Season 2, you get a chance to see the best and worst in people.

And that in each one of us, the potentiality for either exists.

In Season 2, the writers want you to feel uneasy but still curious about these characters.

We got some competing things happening inside and outside of the bunker as people are trying to survive.

Sinatra has to work very hard to find herself back in control.

She seems to rely on people who you might not trust.

I think Sinatra and Jane have a really interesting relationship, the ultimate game of cat and mouse.

Please know that I did what I had to do to keep you clean.

We knew how people were surviving inside the bunker.

We have Sinatra with her billions and billions of dollars.

Now we have to see how do people deal with this situation that don't have resources.

I think a theme that the show sets out with is, "What would you do for your family?" Would you kill someone to protect your community?

If you could describe Xavier in three words, what would that be?

This has been a season of where Xavier doesn't talk a whole bunch,

You're constantly giving the audience these big moments.

I think Dan wanted to paint a picture of a world that wasn't so diabolical and evil,

but it was sparse and people were reticent to reach out and connect with one another.

Because when it becomes tribal, there's always an enemy.

When people are reaching out to each other as people, the goodness kind of comes through at the end of the day,

We've got people around here doing our best.

If we can find a way to be protective but be open to people who may seemingly be different than us, that's beautiful.
