This is the weirdest thing to do a tasting on is vodka.

I'm the beverage director here at Manuela in downtown Los Angeles.

I'm Nikki and I used to have Terrence's job.

And today we are tasting 10 popular grocery store vodkas to see which one tastes the best.

We're tasting it blind to keep it unbiased.

One of these bottles is a beluga gold line, which costs about five times more than the rest.

Like the sugar's coming through, but I think it's probably over distilled.

These over distilled vodkas just like don't have any flavor anymore, but like a really well made one.

When I get a good one, I'd give this a 6.4.5 for me.

No offense because I actually really love the Kettle One Distillery.

It's a 500-year-old family owned the entire time distillery from the NOL.

This vodka is like a pretty amazing old recipe that they have probably back like 300 years ago when they were making spirits.

And it's a classic example of like, let's get rid of all the flavor because people equate no flavor as quality.

For my palate, it's a little more enjoyable, but I don't mind.

Some people, they might not be a fan of this.

It is a little more overpowering really, because I think it tastes exactly the same as last one.

But they'll often, like, taste you on Smirnoff.

Most of you are probably mixing with orange juice or Red Bull.

Half the price tastes almost the same to me.

Right away, I'm getting a little more on the nose.

I feel like this one's more expensive than the last two.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is, like, Grey Goose or something.

I think this one's a little more expensive.

I get nervous now because what if I'm, like, wrong?
