What did you think of the moment when you found out you're the legends pick from commissioner Rodman?

Just, you know, there's a lot of guys here that, you know, it's deserving of the first half they've had, you know, Freddie, obviously, but

And so it's a little weird to get to be here in that regard, but

Having my family here, getting to see it.

You know, both of the Charlies are at the field yesterday, so it's just a blast.

But Clayton, it means, like, what you've done over your career just means I'm old.

The impact you've had on this game is second to none.

What was life when they found out it means so much.

I was the official countdown for his 3,003.

He's one of the greatest left handed pitchers of all time.

Maybe the greatest pitchers of all time left handed or right handed.

So it's not just the first half, it's his whole career.

He's on and off the field as good as you can get.

So I can't wait to watch him pitch tonight in front of everybody and get him out.

Special and it seems like since you went to la, you've even taken your game to a whole nother level.

What's been the secret from then to now that keeps you at this high level?

But I think it's more of just as I've gotten older and the experience of knowing that my process, my routine, my plan of approach to the game is going to work over time.

I don't chase the tail and I'm in a slump and I think just, well, I mean it's 75 and sunny every day out there and I'm soaked in the suit right now.

So Sunday day games are a little bit easier.

But I don't know, I wish I had the secret recipe of what's, what's gone on the last four years.

But hopefully we're not going to break it and we just keep it going.

You know, Clayton, when we talk to you after you guys were celebrating the world Championship, you were emotional that day because of being able to celebrate with your teammates and you weren't able to partake in October the way you wanted.

Are you feeling like you're going to be in this rotation, guns ablaze and leading this team to a world championship this year?

I mean I think more than anything, guys like you know what Freddie did, ankle, you know, Shohei blowing out his shoulder.

Guys just stepping up to the occasion and when you're on the sidelines watching that, it's pretty special, man.

So I definitely want to be a part of it this year.

We got a lot of good starting pitchers, we got a lot of guys coming back.

So it's going to be pretty cutthroat obviously to make the postseason roster, you know.

But you guys got no starting pitching for the whole league.

It's a good team and we're going to be ready to go in October.
