Today's question is how do I say the word conspiracy?

And conspiracy is a secret plan to do something evil or unlawful.

So let's take a look at this word conspiracy.

I think a lot of the confusion comes from that pesky schwa syllable that is in there.

So let's start here with the first syllable.

We're gonna start with the K sound with the tip of your tongue pointed down to the bottom of your mouth and the back of your tongue is pulled up towards the roof of your mouth.

Add that short a syllable, I'm sorry, sound which is made with just an open and relaxed mouth.

Then and with an N by touching the tip of your tongue to the back of your top front teeth.

Next add the word spear like the weapon spear and the key here is to make sure you say the word ear.

So to say that ear vowel make sure you start with a smile and then move to that R sound smoothly and make it one sound.

Next everybody's favorite add the schwa syllable the a sound that is very very short and a client recently told me it sounds to him as if the schwa syllable is part of the syllable before.

If that's the way you think about it, spira.

Then by all means think about it that way but it is actually a separate syllable conspira and then end with the word see like I see you and do this with a very long e sound at the end and that e sound is the happy vowel because it's always made with smiling lips.
