• out of play: No longer in active play or action, especially in sports.
• lie down: To put your body in a flat position, as to sleep
• stay up: To not go to bed until late
• have a go: To attempt or try something.
• in secret: Done or kept in a way that is not known or seen by others.
• going on: To continue doing something
• once upon a time: A conventional phrase used to begin fairy tales and other stories.
• upon a time: An introductory phrase used to begin a story, typically a fairy tale.
• as long as: For the period that; provided that.
• set out: To arrange something in an orderly fashion
• in the world: Used to emphasize a question expressing surprise, confusion, or disbelief.
• silly: Careless
• bit: Device put in a horse's mouth to control it
• steady: Happening or developing at a regular rate
• giant: Tall, large, and powerful human-like creatures
• deliver: To give birth to a child; help a woman give birth

• pottery: Factory where pots/bowls are made from clay
• parcel: A package or box wrapped in paper sent in the mail
• stay: To keep trying without giving up
• owl: Bird with large eyes that hunts at night
• paint: To make a picture with colored liquids
• story: One of many floors or levels in a building
• soft: Having flowing curves rather than sharp edges
• dinosaur: Reptile that lived millions of years ago
• bumpy: Being rough, or not smooth
• hairy: Having or covered with a lot of hair
