Vietnamese people drink coffee every day.

If you drink Vietnamese coffee, you can recognize the difference in the Vietnamese robusta beans.

They can survive through the dry season, the rain season, which makes it very similar to the Vietnamese people.

There's one thing I really like about the Vietnamese coffee is the scent.

Com tam is considered the most iconic staple here in Ho Chi Minh City.

And everyone has their favorite com tam stall.

The rice in com tam is actually smaller size.

I think it's quite hard for foreigners to imagine what they have in com tam.

It has rice with the egg and pork ribs and vegetables.

But they can put more toppings, depends on your style.

The thing that I really like about com tam is the fish sauce.

If the com tam is good or bad, it depends on the fish sauce.

When I was a child, I always ate com tam.

It's my morning breakfast every day and I love it till now.

I always love eating com tam with the egg yolk like this.

It's so good when you mix with the fish sauce.

I don't have much time to, you know, eat com tam every day like I was a child.

But whenever I go abroad, I always miss this one.

Whenever I come back from a very long trip or something, I will eat com tam first.

Normally, when people come here, you actually can eat by the road and see the bar coming around.

But right now, it's raining so you cannot experience it.

But there are some, they call it like night com tam.

So you can eat com tam in the early morning to energize your day.

But also, you can eat that when you finish your work.

So easy to find in Vietnam, especially Ho Chi Minh City.

But there's a lot of LGBT performers who perform a song and who announce a number for you.

They will give you the paper and the performers will sing a song and then give you a number at the end of the song.

Loto shows are a form of entertainment dating back to the French colonial era and now widely popular in the Mekong Delta.

Right now, they often organize during the weekend or maybe some day of the week.

Most of the Loto shows, they also have some food.

So you can enjoy while you're eating and while you're doing bingo.

The one thing very special in this show is the creativity of the performers because they will pick up the numbers and they will try to back up any song.

And when you have like four numbers or five numbers, you will say bingo and then you got the prize.

Snail eating is like a part of the culture of Vietnamese people.

Because of the texture, it can be crunchy or chewy or even slimy.

So it's like an evening pastime for many locals.

The one thing I love about eating snail in Vietnam is we have a lot of kinds of snail here.

You can find a lot of different kinds of seafood here because we have a long poster.

We have grilled snail, stir-fried with chili, I think.

And you can use the bread to dip it with the sauce.

We also can use egg yolk to stir-fry the snail with it.

People in Vietnam, they normally go to snail eating like this after work or when they party.

We call it here trăm phần trăm, which means 100% finished.
