Ochanomizu is known as one of the largest student towns in Japan, centering on Meiji University, and is one of Tokyo's major cross terminals, where the JR Chuo and Sobu lines intersect with the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi and Chiyoda lines.

It is also a medical town, with hospitals affiliated with Tokyo Medical and Dental University and Juntendo University.

The area from Ochanomizu to Jinbocho is known as Town of Musical Instruments.

Combined with the student district, it creates an academic atmosphere.

Today, I'd like to visit the Origami Kaikan, located in such an academic town.

We wanted to see something that was cultural for Japan and had a long-standing history.

Seeing the gallery was really impressive.

We didn't come to the gallery at that point.

Yeah, there's a lot of amazing work down in the gallery.

But seeing the demonstration was really special, too.

When I was a kid, I did a little origami as a hobby.

I got a kit when I was a child with the paper squares.

It's really nice to see something that is a craft that I enjoy at the highest level.
