Hi guys, my name is Sonia and I'm here in Seattle right now.

I'm super excited to show you Agua Verde Cafe, which is this Mexican restaurant right on the water.

I'm just going to order and show you guys how to order food in English, have a conversation with the staff, and just show you what the food looks like.

And to get to Agua Verde, we're going to be walking along the Ave, which is the main street right next to the university.

It's kind of the heart of the U district, so it's always super busy.

There's always people to see and things to do.

And then something I love about the Ave is how many restaurants and cafes they have here.

There's just so many different cuisines to choose from.

And I've lived here, this is my second year living here, and I have yet to try even half the restaurants.

So yeah, you really never run out of things to do.

The Ave is also an amazing place for art and community and that kind of stuff.

I think because it's right next to the university, it offers a lot of opportunities for students to express themselves.

Every year there's a food walk that we do, where restaurants will offer samples of their food for $5.

We also do music shows and art shows here, so that's super fun.

So here's the outside of Agua Verde, it's super cute.

I love the bright green color, it's definitely very noticeable.

And it can get really crowded just around lunchtime and dinnertime because it is such a popular spot and it's right on the water.

So, you know, nice place to take pictures while you're having your food, that kind of stuff.

As you can see, it's right on the water, right next to this adorable little park.

I'm pretty sure you can bring your food down here and eat if you want to, which on a sunny day like today is just perfect, super refreshing spot.

Something else I love about Agua Verde is that they're not just a restaurant, but they also rent kayaks and paddle boards.

So as a kid, sometimes we would make a whole day of it.

We would come down here, rent a kayak, and then afterwards have lunch at the cafe.

So it's just kind of fun that they take advantage of being right on the water and that they have that opportunity for guests to come and do that.

Their entire menu is online, which is really nice because I feel like the line would get super long if everyone had to figure out what they wanted to order at the counter.

I usually get the mango dia when I'm here.

It's like a quesadilla with mango inside, which sounds a little weird, but they have super fresh ingredients, so it's really good.

But I'm kind of feeling more like a burrito or something.

And then also the enchiladas with pork of it.

Oh, we actually only have like chicken enchiladas or veggie enchiladas.

Okay, veggie burrito, chicken enchiladas.

We have a big salsa bar over there and water is all the way around the corner.

This is like the outdoor seating part of the restaurant.

And as you can see, it like looks right out onto the water, which I love, especially now that it's finally sunny out.

Sorry if the music's loud, but again, very high energy, very busy cafe.

They also have this super cool self-serve salsa bar, which is kind of nice because like unlimited salsa, um, which I always use.

Our waitress gave us three chips, which is super nice of her.

And then this one's like a chipotle salsa, which is my personal favorite just because I really like spicy food.

They like, I know they hand make their tortillas.

Oh, and then they also gave us this number.

So 21, the number 21 is associated with our order.

And then the waitress will come out and bring our food to the table when it's ready.

Honestly, super fast considering how busy they are and everything looks amazing.

So this is, these are like chicken enchiladas.

And the brown stuff is like a mole sauce.

Looks like it has sesame seeds on it too.

And then it comes with refried beans and Spanish rice.
