Today, we are going to learn about something that many English learners face, pronunciation.

Specifically, we'll be looking into 15 English words that are often considered some of the most difficult to pronounce correctly.

Many students feel anxiety before a big test.

It makes a gz sound like an exam or exact.

The strongest part of the word is on that second syllable.

Let's look at some examples you might encounter.

It's mostly panic, anxiety, and a great deal of sweating.

In American English, which we're focusing on, it's pronounced schedule.

And the last part sounds like jewel or the end of module.

This one can be a bit tricky because it often sounds like it has fewer syllables than it looks.

The A at the beginning is a soft uh sound like in about.

That makes an A sound like in say or day.

Make sure you pronounce all those syllables.

When exploring a city all day, it's so important to wear comfortable shoes.

This is often pronounced comf-der-ble with the stress on the first syllable comf like come.
