  • Over the course of the pandemic, healthcare workers have also risked their lives on a daily basis to work in highly stressful environments,

  • with a surge in patients and not enough staff and resources.

  • This forced them to work overtime and endanger their own well-being to help others.

  • As you can imagine, being away from home, often for months at a time in war zones, can be extremely traumatic.

  • The fear of injuries and casualties can cause great anxiety, often resulting in post-traumatic stress disorder and mental health issues.

  • As you can see, most of these stressful jobs are also rewarding ones.
