I don't wanna play anymore, okay? I give up. - It's just a game. - I'm not going to play this game anymore because, because I've having a meltdown, okay? - Hey buddy, Rudy, Rudy. Hey, why don't we just take a deep breath together and calm down? - Yes. - Okay? - Just take a breath. There we go. - I took a breath. - Good. - But I still give up. - What? No. Don't give up. Hey, I think I have an idea how to make this game really fun so Rudy won't wanna give up. Come here, Chris. - Oh, wow, that sounds like a fun new way to play the game. - What? What's fun? - Here we go. Red light, green light, stop and go, change this game and make it grow. Zippity zap. (Elmo laughing) - [Elmo] This is amazing, Abby, look at the gumball machine. - [Rudy] So cool. - Good job, Abby. Boy, Elmo thinks Elmo's gonna like this game. (laughing) - Welcome to Sesame Stop Light, the game where contestants face challenges while trying to keep their cool. - Is it Chris? - That's right, I am your host, and you three are going to play for the same team, right Abby? - That's right, Chris. (Elmo laughing) So what do you say, Rudy, we can all play together. - Well, I guess. Okay, I'll play. - Oh yeah, Elmo too. - These are the rules for the game. - Okay. - If you need help, just yell red light. This will give you a chance to stop and take a deep breath. Next the light will change to yellow. This will give you a chance to think of a plan to solve the problem. - Okay, then what? - When you're ready to try your plan, just yell green light and go. Got it? - [All] Got it. - All right then, it's time for our first challenge. Abby, would you like to spin the wheel? - Yes. Okay, and... (bright music) - Shape shopping. Follow me. A-ha. - The store, oh. - Now the rules for shape shopping are simple, you have to run into the store, and come back with three triangles before time runs out. Are you ready? - Yeah. - Set. Go. Our contestants can grab anything they like as long as it's a triangle. - Ooh, cookies. - Pie, awesome. - Hey, you guys, are those triangles, huh? - Well, maybe Elmo can eat all of the pie til there's just a little triangle left. - Elmo, we have to find triangles. - Oh, okay. - But I can't find any triangles, it's too hard. - Rudy's frustrated. They haven't found one triangle yet. Will they make it in time? - I don't like this game, I'm frustrated. I'm going to give up. - Red light. (whistle blowing) - Red light means stop and take a deep breath. - Hey, it's okay, Rudy, just calm down and take a deep breath. - Yeah. - Okay. Okay. - Yellow light means think of a plan to solve the problem. - Okay, well we don't have much time left. - There's too many things in the store. - What if we each took a side of the store? - That's a great idea, Elmo. We need to focus and look for triangles. - Well how do we do that? - A-ha, Elmo knows. What if we say to ourselves look for a shape with three sides? - Okay, got it. - Okay, Rudy, you take this shelf. Elmo, you look behind the counter, and I'll check out the freezer. - Hey, that sounds like a plan. Are you guys ready to try? - Yes, we're ready, we're ready. - Green light. - Green light. - Look for a shape with three sides.
