How is Tiktok impacting your brain is a new study just came out and they're talking about something called Tiktok use disorder.

Oh God, that interfere with your daily life or it could lead to withdrawal when you're not using.

It turns out that people who have this disorder have higher levels of anxiety, stress and depression.

But more importantly, our most interesting, the study found that people who have Tiktok use disorder have a lower working memory.

So your working memory is like how much information your brain is able to hold at one time and then using cognitive tasks that people who had Tiktok use disorder couldn't hold as much in their mind and completely cognitive tasks to as high of a degree.

Of course, it's literally just like different context and videos firing into your brain.

Whether or not people who are more depressed and anxious happen to use Tiktok more often, or people who talk more often get more depressed and anxious is yet to be determined.
