Welcome to Danny and Aaron's Kitchen Episode 3!

So right now we're not in the kitchen, but we're out shopping for

a few items so we can prepare our beautiful recipe today.

Yeah.

Yeah so we still have one more place to go to get one more ingredient.

That's right. Let's go!

Yay we are back!

The ingredients are really really simple this time.

All you need is some bread, mozzarella cheese...

And you want to make sure that the cheese is very stretchy you know and

so make sure it's a mozzarella cheese, the ones you use for pizza.

We have all the ingredients. We're ready to cook, so let's start cooking?

Step one is going to be to cut the cheese and color the cheese.

It's harder than I thought.

That's a lot of cheese for one section.

I think you can cut those in half, too.

And then half of it?

Yeah even that's gonna be a lot, I think.

We're gonna warm it up in the microwave just for a few seconds,

Five seconds. Five seconds? Yeah.

And then add the food coloring and then sort of like mix it up.

Gloves!

So we're putting gloves on so we don't get the color on our hands.

So what color do you want to start with?

I'm gonna do blue!

I'll do red.

How many drops do you think?

Two drops.

Ok that was... you just put four when you said two.

Really?

Here, can you heat mine too?

Yeah.

How come yours is so good?

Just keep going.

Like kneading bread. Like fold the outside to the inside.

I'm gonna do 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 drops of yellow.

I'll do like, I don't know, 1, 2, 3?

Do you need help?

Yes.

How many drops?

Just one.

This is so fun!

Hot hot hot!

Rainbow!

So we're gonna set it up and be right back.

What do we want, medium?

Medium.

Ok.

We just put the butter in. Melt the butter. And go ahead!

Oh oh oh! Oh my gosh!

Ok you can put it on.

Ahh!

So I'm moving it around so that the bread is like fully covered in butter so that it can get a nice toastiness.

Ok. Now put the bread on top.

I'm just gonna put more butter.

*sizzle sizzle*

What a pro!

You think I'm a pro at making grilled cheese?

I think it's almost done!

So you don't really have a time for it? You just wait?

Yeah and of course you want the cheese on the inside to be melted too.

Good? Good? Yeah! Ok.

This is step 2 and we are moving onto step 3: eat it!

No, we need to cut it first!

Ready?

Ahhh! Whoaaaa!!!

Oh my gosh!

I never thought it would be this stretchy!

And it also tastes really really good.

It does taste really good.

If you guys have like a pride party this is super easy to prepare.

Yeah and once you stretch it looks just like a pride flag I mean it's a perfect rainbow.

I don't even know how to eat this.

It's pride month and we're making this rainbow sandwich just to have fun, but it's important to remember

how serious pride month is, and how much the lgbtq+ community has gone through.

So pride month is really a time to celebrate, but it's also a time to be thankful of the

progress our community has made, and the rights that we've gained for ourselves.

So we're wishing everyone a happy Pride to celebrate and have fun, but also to remember the importance.

And we're wishing happy pride to anyone who identifies as part of the lgbtq+ community including allies as well.

So we hope everyone has a good pride and enjoys a lovely sandwich.

I can't believe it stretches so far!

I was really worried it wasn't gonna stretch. Same here!

I was like what if it just like stretches like half an inch and snaps.

In my mind I was like what if it just melts all together and becomes like one weird brown color?
