  • So today's video is one that's a little bit different because it's more related.

  • Thio a very specific topic, and that is Cove in 19 Fatigue Cove in 19.

  • Fatigue is actually a buzzword that I've been seeing in news articles lately in magazine articles, and it's been interesting because I feel like it's something that sort of been suggested to us.

  • This idea that we are tired of Cove in 19 and I really want Thio talk about this topic with you because I think it is wearing a lot of people down, and it's slowing us in our internal growth in our internal exploration of ourselves.

  • It's stopping us from being fully present, and it's really just dragging all of us down.

  • So today I want to share with you some of my best tips on how you can deal with this Koven 19 Fatigue and how you can set yourself up for success for the new year That's to come.

  • Tip number one.

  • Stop telling yourself that you're fatigued.

  • So here's my theory.

  • I have actually recently been going through news articles, and I've been reading quite a bit about this feeling that we all seem to be going through lately, which is this cove in 19 fatigue, and I honestly believe that it's these types of articles that are suggesting this feeling to us, and it's actually brainwashing us and causing us to feel that we are fatigued and tired and sick and tired of the Cove in 19 Pandemic.

  • That's not to say that you're not feeling sick and tired of Cove in 19 all on your own, but I do think there is something to the power of suggestion.

  • That's what I'm referring to, which is that when someone suggests that you're potentially feeling this way because of a certain reason and they label it, they call it something such as Cove in 19 fatigue.

  • Then all of a sudden, if you somehow believe or agree with them, you start to feel even mawr of that potential feeling.

  • So that feeling of fatigue, tiredness, that annoyance, that frustration that irritability, you actually convince yourself that, Yeah, that's what I'm going through.

  • I'm going through covert 19 fatigue and it ends up being your whole identity.

  • It ends up being how you wake up.

  • Every day ends up being how you feel when you go to bed, and it's something that you carry with you throughout the entire day and into the next day, and this is why I believe that it's so important that you beware of what it is that you're telling yourself and what it is that you're agreeing with.

  • Because if you continue to agree with these articles that tell you, Hey, you're feeling tired, you're going to continue to feel tired.

  • That's not gonna end until you recognize that.

  • Hey, I don't have to agree with what these articles.

  • They're telling me to feel.

  • I can instead decide how I want to feel myself.

  • So Number one tip, like I said, is to stop telling yourself that you feel fatigued.

  • Tip number two, clean up the inside mess before anything else.

  • So it's not as simple as just saying Okay, I'm going to stop telling myself that I feel tired and hopefully I won't feel tired anymore.

  • That's not really what I mean, and that's not how it works.

  • But what I am trying to point out is that there is something deeper within you if you are feeling irritable.

  • If you are feeling frustrated, if you are feeling even sad on a regular basis, there is something deeper that's going on within you that you need to look at, and that's what I refer to as the inside mess, you need to tidy up what's inside in order to feel a lot more refreshed.

  • The inside mess that I'm referring to is the inner turmoil that you are currently feeling because we're having to work from home and we're staying at home majority of the time.

  • It can feel a lot like Groundhog Day every single day.

  • So I don't know if you've ever seen the movie Groundhog Day.

  • But it's about a man who wakes up every day, and every day is just like the last.

  • He meets the same people.

  • He goes through the same interactions, the same events, and it just really doesn't end.

  • In the next morning, he wakes up and it starts all over again.

  • Nothing changes until he changes himself on Lee until he sees things differently is his day and his days are able to change.

  • So that's what I'm referring to here.

  • You want to start going on a detox for yourself.

  • Detox means to clean up that inside mess.

  • You want to stop adding more of a mess to it, so that means stop going on websites, reading news articles and filling yourself up with anything that is just adding to that tired feeling that's adding to that annoyance, adding to that irritability, adding to that sadness, you want to intentionally set boundaries for yourself and block out the noise.

  • You want to do this for a little while, maybe do it for at least a day, two days, three days at a time, or do it in little spurts.

  • You know, for the next five hours I'm not going to add anything to my inner turmoil.

  • Instead, I want to allow myself to just be with who I am and not allow anything to get in my way.

  • And you're probably thinking to yourself, Oh, but I want to stay in the loop with, you know, the news.

  • I need to know what's going on in the world.

  • And the truth is, you don't really need to know everything that's going on in the world.

  • You don't need Thio jump into that drama that's outside of you.

  • But if you do really, really want Thio, keep in check with what's going on.

  • Fine.

  • Give yourself five minutes, five minutes every day to just go through the news articles that you want to go through, read up on what's new, and then once that time is done, just turn it off and put it away if you can.

  • I know it's tough.

  • I know it's difficult.

  • This is something I'm asking you to do.

  • That is, has become a true habit for all of us.

  • We're so used to being next to our phones and reading our phones, even if it's something that we don't even care too much about, what we will read it just to distract ourselves.

  • Why?

  • Because we can't even sit with our own feelings, and that's what I'm asking you to do now is to set boundaries for yourself.

  • Clean up that inside noise that inner turmoil, and that will start to help you to feel a little bit more clear on yourself and you'll feel clear about your path.

  • It's so important to become aware of what's going on inside, because once you are aware of it, you can then do the work of removing it, and once you're able to remove it, you can then make room to appreciate all that you do already have.

  • Tip number three is to focus on the here and now.

  • The truth is even I find myself feeling antsy at times, wondering when is this whole thing ever going to end?

  • Because it just feels like it's never going to end, even though there's glimmers of hope here and there.

  • But what I'm trying to say is the way to combat that feeling is to be present, focus on what you have to do right now for the next hour and do it and then the next, our focus on what you have to do and then do that and pretty much just do that every hour, every half hour, however long you can last until you get through the end of the day.

  • Unfortunately, it sounds sad, but to be honest, it's not because when you can just focus on what you have to do now and you spend your time and energy doing that one thing, even if it's just to take a nap, you are being present.

  • You are being alert to what it is that's in front of you.

  • Rather than distracting yourself mindlessly by again going on your phone, reading news articles, reading things that you don't need to be reading up about and filling your mind with additional thoughts that don't need to be there.

  • Tip number four is to embrace self loving energy every day.

  • So this is something that I've recently learned to dio, and I'm getting better at it.

  • But I'm still a little shaky, and I need practice with it myself.

  • But it has worked during the times that I have done it.

  • So what it is is you want Thio.

  • Put yourself in a position where you have time and space where you don't have any distractions, and you can allow yourself to close your eyes and think about a friend or family member who you love deeply.

  • You know, it could be your spouse.

  • It could be a sibling.

  • It could be a child.

  • Anyone that you can think of who you love very much, and what you want to do is you want to focus on the energy, the feeling of love that you have towards this person and just allow yourself to envelope yourself in that feeling, and when you can embrace that feeling within you.

  • What you then want to dio is beyond transferring that energy and focusing on that person who you love.

  • You want to take that energy and then bring it back to yourself.

  • And you want to wrap yourself in that feeling of self love.

  • So you're giving love to that one person.

  • But you're taking that love energy, and you're giving it to yourself as well.

  • And what happens is you start to feel so much more peace.

  • So much more warmth, so much more balanced is what I found.

  • And so when you can practice this feeling of giving yourself loving energy, all of a sudden you feel so much more refreshed because the truth is we don't give ourselves loving energy very often on a daily basis.

  • Instead, we do the very opposite.

  • We give ourselves pretty much negative feeling.

  • Energy you know, will criticize ourselves.

  • We'll talk down to ourselves, and it's just the complete opposite of what you should be doing because we need to be feeding ourselves with this loving energy first.

  • So if you can start practicing this for yourself, notice how much more balanced and calm ur throughout the day.

  • Tip number five is to write it all down when we're going through an anxiety ridden time.

  • It's really easy for us to allow that anxiety, too, stay with us, live with us day and night.

  • But when that anxiety stays with you for that long of a period, day after day, it's actually poisoning your body.

  • And if you don't want that energy to live with you the way that it has been, then you need to energetically release it.

  • And one way is to journal.

  • I've advocated journaling time and time again in my videos and the reason why I advocate that you should start journaling if you don't already is because it works.

  • Take 10 to 20 minutes to write down.

  • This is my journal, By the way, this is my journal.

  • Take 10 to 20 minutes of your day to write down what you're feeling to write down anything that comes to you, and you want to also ask for guidance.

  • You know, whether it's your higher self or your guides or God or whoever you believe in.

  • You wanna ask for guidance?

  • You wanna ask your questions and write them down and then write whatever comes to you in terms of answers, because you will get that much more clear on what it is that you're feeling you'll be able to process that inner turmoil that's going on within you and you'll be able to energetically release it.

  • It's taken out from within you, and it's down on paper, so you can then separate yourself from it.

  • This is something that I do regularly, and I feel so much clearer when I'm done because it's out of my system.

  • Whatever has been going on up here or bothering me in here, I'm able to put it down on paper and it's outside of me.

  • It's no longer attached and stuck within me.

  • So there you have it.

  • Those are my five tips on how you can deal with Cove in 19 fatigue.

  • I really hope that they are going to be helpful to you now.
