  • - Well, what do we do to learn something new?

  • We look it up

  • Searching for different kinds of homes.

  • There are one-family homes.

  • And apartment houses where lots of different people live.

  • There are houseboats.

  • And there are tree houses.

  • And check this one out, Elmo,

  • a house made of ice.

  • - [Smartie] That's right, brr.

  • - [Elmo] Good thing they've got warm clothes.

  • Does an igloo belong on a lake?

  • - [Child] It's melting 'cause it's made of ice.

  • igloos are made of snow and ice.

  • Where should it go?

  • - [Child] The snow, where it's cold.

  • Igloos are in places where it's cold.

  • So, which kind of home does go in the water?

  • - [Child] The houseboat.

  • It belongs on the lake.

  • - [Elmo] Oh that's perfect!

  • Where should the barn go?

  • - [Children] On the farm.

  • - [Elmo] A barn is a home for animals.

  • - [Elmo And Children] Yay!

  • (cow mooing) (bell ringing)

  • - Bye-bye cow.

  • Wow, there's so many different types of homes in the world.

  • And that makes Elmo wonder even more.

  • Boy, what kind of home do you think Mr. Noodle lives in?

  • Hey, let's ask him, okay?

  • Hey, Mr. Noodle!

  • (laughing)

  • - Mr. Noodle. - It's Mr. Noodle.

  • Hi Mr. Noodle.

  • Hi.

  • And Mr. Noodle's pet poodle, Schmoodle.

  • Elmo's wondering, what kind of home Mr. Noodle lives in?
