You just pretend to be my boyfriend to make him jealous and all pretend to be your girlfriend to make her jealous.

And over the course of the next 90 minutes, what accidentally fall in love and then be together?

What, you just sign right here on the dotted line.

But personally, the most infuriating and simple way that I have been tricked into a relationship is by just having another person Tell me I like you.

And all of a sudden you find yourself saying I like you too.

But really, it's because you like me.

A friend and I were talking when we realized Oh, my God, that's truly happened.

It wasn't that we actually like to ever liked us.

It's that we wanted to be wanted so badly that anyone who wanted us was automatically accepted without any evaluation of who they were, or whether or not they were compatible with us.

Aka low self esteem.

I've been tricked into many relationships by my low self esteem.

There was the narcissist e like you, but mostly me a cheater.

I like you and like five other women, three emotionally unavailable.

I like you until you reciprocate, at which point I will probably change my mind and distance myself from you.

But now, thanks to the last two years of singledom and sobriety and lots and lots of pain inspired growth, I can proudly say I cannot be tricked into a relationship anymore.
