  • Hello, everybody.

  • Welcome to Togo.

  • Creative play.

  • I'm your host, Emma.

  • And today I'm here with Chris Abroad in Japan.

  • Chris, A broader question.

  • But we haven't had lunch yet, so I'm a little bit hungry.

  • So I was thinking we could go to 7 11.

  • It's been about 2000 and each get the meals that would usually like to eat, and then we could swap swap, try each other's favorite meals.

  • Well, I suppose you and ivory, different diets, different preferences towards food.

  • I think it will be quite interesting to see if you can handle what I normally have a lot of God.

  • Chicken, chicken, chicken, chicken.

  • Let's not make too many assumptions.

  • Okay.

  • Well, I'm up for this.

  • I'm very hungry.

  • I haven't had much to eat today, so I'm gonna eat whatever you throw my way.

  • Okay?

  • There's some chicken fried stuff.

  • I'm good, but I'd be interested to get for 2000 years.

  • E think that's quite a lot to spend a 7 11.

  • You get a lot of bang for your buck 2000.

  • Anyway, let's go.

  • All right.

  • That's right.

  • Now let's eat things.

  • A a How much did you spend at several other way.

  • Less than 2000.

  • I spent 2100 some a little bit over budget.

  • You've got a premium lunch hair.

  • Yeah, I did.

  • 1225.

  • So is that it?

  • You're gonna have a Is there gonna be enough feeding this way?

  • I think it is anyway.

  • All right, let's switch bags.

  • Right.

  • There's your lunch.

  • There's my lunch thistles.

  • Not just food.

  • This is an experience eating a peanut.

  • It's time.

  • This is just food.

  • I'm gonna tell you, I kind of looked at it.

  • It kind of comprehensive dining experience, right?

  • You're on the go.

  • You're in Tokyo.

  • It's not just food.

  • There's more to it as you'll find out.

  • Oh, it's a thing that's wrapped up is usually gonna be good because it's usually from the fried counter.

  • So right up the back.

  • Oh, I think I know what it's a role.

  • Spring roll monkey is Japanese for spring roll, and it literally means spring roll.

  • Very good.

  • It's like fried chicken.

  • It's kind of really salty, crispy batter like soldier salt, chicken, salt, chicken, salt, chicken looking at assaults on it, That is salt.

  • Yeah, it's an assault on the senses.

  • Oh, boy.

  • Oh, God.

  • Well, I've never had this before.

  • What do you think?

  • That's a pretty good What's in it?

  • A bunch of different stuff.

  • Mushroom vegetables, A little bit of meat.

  • It's very oily.

  • E could only have one.

  • It's basically just some oil wrapped in batter, but that's a good thing.

  • It's not a healthy thing, but a good thing.

  • Have you had this specific one before?

  • No.

  • No.

  • Chick is way better.

  • This is actually quite dry.

  • They didn't have any knowledge.

  • If it was just salt chicken, Well done.

  • After a great start, this is really, really good.

  • E never had this before.

  • Looking at eight years, eight years?

  • How did?

  • Might be really good if you ever come here.

  • The piece of month about pizza month.

  • Have breakfast every day.

  • When I was a teacher, so good, like dry toe work pizza, Mom.

  • So I could have bread filled with tomato and cheese.

  • Then I'll get a nice coffee.

  • Then I'll be ready to go.

  • I'll show the Earth s happy.

  • I'm actually really happy that you like it.

  • This is the life change.

  • Introduced you to something that feels cool.

  • I've lost a lot of way.

  • I've lost like 4 kg because I've been locked indoors during this virus thing.

  • But now I've discovered this, but undo all that good work, but it's gonna be worth it.

  • All right, next.

  • There we go.

  • Alright, I got another hot thing.

  • This is a cheesy ham and cheese tortilla burrito thing.

  • This is like the thing I get the most of some 11 on.

  • It's just a burrito.

  • If you with cheese and ham, they heat it up in a microwave on.

  • The problem is, it gets really soggy if you don't eat it quickly on.

  • It's been in that bag for about 20 minutes.

  • It could be a lump of soggy burrito, but it'll probably still be quite yet.

  • Okay, I've eaten this, like more than anything, probably in Japan ever I have had been before, but that time it was also a soggy lump of cheese and show the camera should look at that.

  • See cheese and ham.

  • Morita.

  • It doesn't look great, Chris.

  • It tastes great, and that's all that matters.

  • I'm showing it was fresh 25 minutes ago.

  • It's been a while.

  • Is it good?

  • There's still enjoyable, even though it zlook warm.

  • See, the trees is not well.

  • I got a pretty good that you bought me a sandwich.

  • Three sandwiches, to be precise.

  • So the way that I set up my bag is I thought it was like, if I would go on a Shinkansen or if I'm traveling.

  • This is stuff that I would usually get.

  • So I would usually just get a mixed sandwich just to have on the Shinkansen.

  • Just so I used to get sandwiches from 7.

  • 11 but it's just too messy.

  • But look at it.

  • There's a sense that if you pull that back, just explode everywhere.

  • Whereas with the burrito, you know what you get.

  • It's nice and contained.

  • Look at that.

  • You've had one by look how contained it is was pillar box.

  • Okay, you got it.

  • Why is that?

  • A crust on this theme?

  • Amazing.

  • Japan.

  • There's some sandwiches.

  • No crusts.

  • It's really that simple.

  • Burrito is this?

  • This is very simple.

  • So that pack has the egg, and then the ham and cheese one.

  • And then there's, you know, all right, now.

  • All right.

  • I was gonna wash it down with a drink.

  • Yes, Oh, I love that.

  • Oh, you got kind of a similar little lemony Assisi lemon.

  • A big CC lemon.

  • What have I got?

  • Like a tiny one?

  • Like a big CC lemon I spent big on you.

  • You spent I don't have a big drink.

  • So you got this one like the medicine?

  • Yeah, yeah, yeah, I drink a little bit.

  • Um, and see, I've never had this before.

  • I love it, but I do love CC, lemon.

  • That's why I got you that.

  • Because that is something I do drink a lot.

  • Yeah, Vitamin C.

  • Let's fight off the perils of the coronavirus.

  • What shower?

  • It's genuinely like sweeter lemon juice that's been carbonated and put in a Yeah, that wakes me up, dude.

  • Actually hurting my tongue.

  • Yeah, it's so intense.

  • I love it, though.

  • I don't know if I drink this.

  • It's gonna set my summer camp fire.

  • It tastes like battery acid.

  • Oh, it's really sour.

  • Yeah, you don't have to finish it.

  • God, this is very sweet.

  • It's like, you know, like a lemonade.

  • And here's the best bit of Sisi Lemon.

  • If you look on the front here.

  • It says 48 lemons worth of vitamin C.

  • 48 lemons in here Thinking about that.

  • That's scary.

  • And so on a nice, sunny day What better way to finish the meal with a face?

  • Wipe a nice, cool, minty facebook one, isn't it?

  • White chicken grease?

  • It isn't.

  • It doesn't feel nice.

  • Very cooling.

  • It's an experience.

  • It's not just food.

  • It's a lunchtime down the experience on What have I got?

  • I've never had this.

  • Actually, this is salted corn snacks, and you get to tell me what it is.
