Hey, dudes pilot!
And today, on highly cooking, we're making peach Melba.
This is one of the most famous desserts invented by a chef s coffee.
A.
It's fresh peaches poached in syrup, served with raspberry sauce and ice cream.
It's perfect for summer time, and it's perfect for parties because you can make it a couple of days ahead of time.
So let's get started because you are gonna love it.
Start out making a vanilla scented simple syrup with sugar and water and one vanilla bean pods.
Split it down the center and break it open a little bit to let those roam of come out.
Simmer that together for five minutes while you have and pit your peaches poached peaches for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until the skins start to become a little bit loose.
You want you speeches that are ripe but not soft, and they should smell really peachy but still be a little bit of farm.
Scoop the peaches out as they are poached and put them in a bowl to cool.
Okay, once they're cooled, you should just be able to slip the skins off easily, like you're slipping off ladies lingerie, Then pour the syrup over the peaches and lepen Chill.
You could make them up to two days ahead of time for the sauce.
We're gonna use one bag of frozen raspberries, or you could use three cups of fresh raspberries.
The raspberries have been broad.
Clearly, we're gonna wisdom up in the blender with a couple tablespoons of powdered sugar and now the hardest part of this recipe.
Run that through a little sieve to get all of the seats out so that you don't end up with seeds in your teeth because that would be super embarrassing.
Finally, we'll add a little bit of lemon juice, just a perk it back up, put it into our serving container and stick that in the fridge to now, when you're ready to serve, you just get a scoop of vanilla ice cream at a peach half or even two.
If you're feeling a little bit gluttonous and then some of your raspberry sauce and that's all, folks, when you just eat it, you devour it because it's luscious and delicious.
