  • If you're interested in listening to me ramble keep watching this video, but if you want a quick tutorial

  • I'm gonna put together the little snippets of how to do it into a boring but functional video

  • Then you can go into my small tutorial.

  • So I feel like this is gonna work out really well

  • Must jam camera into tiny space

  • Feel like I'm framed up enough here

  • Am I? You can see straight into the washroom straight into the bowels of the washroom.

  • After years of promising to make you guys a tutorial about that little donut hair bun that I always do

  • I am finally doing it it is way out of style by now,

  • but I don't care because as you know,

  • I don't really care about style.

  • I just I just do what I like to do.

  • Today's the day of reckoning for the hair bun video

  • because my hair is disgustingly greasy

  • and that is the only time period you should be doing this

  • if you try to do this with fresh hair, it just goes like (shh)

  • and slides out everywhere. You want to save this for that day where you're like,

  • I should've wash my hair yesterday, but this morning

  • I don't really want to wash my hair. What can I do with this?

  • This is what you can do with it.

  • Have you ever been waiting in line and seen one of these weird looking things

  • hanging on some one of those discount racks?

  • These are the little donut buns that you need to actually create it.

  • So it's gonna go here or it can go here or you can even do princess layer or Sailor Moon buns.

  • Which I finally perfected recently!

  • LIFE GOALS!

  • If you don't have one of these buns do not worry

  • I'm sure you have a sock which has lost its sock companion

  • and you need to put it out of its misery

  • After you've washed it, of course,

  • let me show you an example. I'm just gonna take my sock off

  • This is my fuzzy socks that I'm currently wearing.

  • So what you're gonna do is cut the bottom off of it like this

  • and then you're just gonna roll it in on itself

  • to create a donut a donut

  • There you go or a bagel. That's it

  • So, of course this end would be open and then that way you'd be able to have a hole in the center

  • Which is important because your hair is gonna be coming through this hole

  • You're gonna need some kind of a bun thingy

  • you're gonna need a hair elastic that is big enough to go over this

  • We'll get there in a second

  • You're gonna need hair elastics for putting your hair into a really tight ponytail

  • that will not slip out as time goes on.

  • I gotta sneeze.

  • I always sneeze twice. How many times do you guys sneeze?

  • Popped in here on that one. You'll also need some kind of a hair gel or hair product

  • that's really good at keeping down the flyaways.

  • I'm using got 2b glued which is the most intense stuff and will require me to wash my hair

  • It's basically like punk styling gel.

  • Can you guys see this?

  • Yes

  • There's a big difference between having these weird flyways and between having like a sleek

  • egg like head and you'll also need some bobby pins for securing the leftover hair at the end

  • Um, just a quick question. Why are they called bobby pins? That's what I'd like to know

  • Why not Martina pins or Sally pins or Bob pins?

  • Why Bobby who made them was it made by someone named Bobby?

  • And Bobby is it a boy? Did Bobby the boy decide that he needed

  • hair clips and like is he just a really forward-thinking guy from back in the day

  • because I've been calling the bobby pins since I was a kid and that's way before

  • LGBTQ+, I think is in there now, rights were really around

  • and so that means some guy named Bobby might have been some like really dope cool drag queen

  • and he invented them but then secretly couldn't tell people that he was a drag queen

  • because people were so stupid and unaccepting back then

  • But there is Bob the drag queen, but it's not Bobby the drag queen. I love Bob the drag queen

  • Where was I?

  • All right here tutorial we're going to pull our hair up into a really high ponytail and wherever you put it

  • So like if I put it here, that's where my bun is gonna be.

  • If I put it here, that's where it's gonna be.

  • So this is like a one-time get it right kind of go.

  • I am personally an upside down brusher to make my ponytails happen.

  • Oh, yeah feel that grease just like I could run donut in that

  • We don't want any bumps and any lumps. We want this to be like an what's your name, Adrian?

  • Adrian Grande, I have to tell you guys the truth.

  • I have not heard a single song of her's. Nothing against the girl.

  • All the bumples have been smooth

  • I'm actually using a double hair elastic. So I'm using two elastic bands that I've put together

  • Good great. Awesome

  • I've just pulled them together and created a green it gets bradle

  • Alright, so this week's new hair tutorial is on how to take your hair and change it from pink to

  • Blonde and back again. So this is the new hairstyle. It's called the Hat flip you dye your hair underneath it

  • and then you just

  • brush everything over and you create kind of like a dome and

  • Then you just take photos online and let everyone know that you've dyed your hair pink

  • I'll be right back

  • I'll take you guys

  • Take a look at this atrocity. I don't know

  • This is how you guys organize things

  • But I pretty much just dump a million things in and then try to find them and then over time

  • This bin gets so full of everything that I can't find anything and then one day I'll actually clean it for now

  • We're playing the hair clip roulette

  • What are we got in the claw machine today there's some hair

  • There's a little there's a safety pin Diezel do pinchy mom's Martina. Oh and last time you liked me spoke guys

  • I didn't have the shelf. Look we got a shelf made remember before I just had it like hanging on one of these embarrassingly

  • Yeah, this is my is my makeup shelf. We got some Loki we got some really cool lipsticks and stuff some of them

  • I don't wear cuz they're so weird. But I like to play with them. Anyways, my Clips my ring holders. I'm a smudgy

  • Sailor Moon Box. I've got the stuff that I use the most

  • And they're tonight some of the perfumes and then there's makes magic again

  • And then there's the chaos, which is normally Wolverine is over here, but the light is in the way today

  • Okay, that was enough of that. This feels pretty smooth

  • I'm gonna try to keep mine

  • more in the middle today

  • Okay, Oh

  • a little more forward

  • Don't make it so tight that you hit your life, but it's got to be tight enough that it won't move

  • Okay, so if you guys can see where mine is located right now Oh

  • Flip your got-damn hair before I put my

  • doughnut in if there's like bumbles like this like you see this little bumble of hair that's choosing to be like

  • Everyone's going this way about anyone this way if that happens to you

  • you have to redo your freaking hair because this will never go away and it will just get bigger and

  • Just bigger and then by the end of the day, you'll be like I'm starting a new trend

  • Okay, we're gonna nose one more time slowly running out of energy. Oh, yeah

  • The plastic elastic band that I had for support broke

  • Good. Awesome. This is exactly real-life tutorials. You see it

  • it's just

  • It's good. It's great. We have to make sure that all these little flyaways here are completely slicked down

  • So what I'm gonna do, is that hair gel

  • But it gets really sticky and you don't want to get your hair stuck in it

  • So it's a bit of like a quick quick move

  • Scenario, here we go. We're gonna

  • Look these guys back, huh? Huh? Oh

  • Yeah, when the hair bun goes on to your head

  • These little tiny parts are really hard to reach because the bun is covering it. I'm gonna get the back why this is drying

  • Oh, man, I look like an egg

  • Paddy egg, we're gonna take our donut or our sock donut depending on what you're doing. Pull your hair through it this

  • Then I'm gonna pull it all the way through

  • Here's the weird part

  • we're gonna coat our hair all the way around our head because

  • We're gonna take this hair elastic and put it over it to kind of capture it into a bun shape, really

  • I just got to show you we're gonna have to reassure our hair because we need to change the angle of what our hair is

  • Feeling that sounded like a hippie thing to say

  • But it's not cuz you know when you brush your hair a certain direction

  • It kind of holds it so I'm trying to separate my hair. I have no idea

  • This is gonna show you guys may turn sideways separate my hair

  • And then you see how I'm just kind of pull it around

  • To make sure it goes all the way to the back

  • And to the front

  • No, no

  • Take my hair elastic. Now that I know all my hair is covering and I'm gonna put it over my bun

  • Like so now I'm gonna gather all this hair. Oh

  • Man I really need to cut this random piece of hair that's like

  • I prefer to do like a simple braid which then pulls over it you can also

  • Wrap it around your bun

  • Let this hair in half and you could twist it and then turn it around your bun

  • You could pin it or you can take it all and you can braid it in one direction

  • I personally find the braid is the simplest and very impressive looking even though it's super easy

  • So I'm gonna break my hair into three sections you do have to make sure the base is quite tight

  • Everyone's gonna see it from the front perspective. Here we go

  • Gently making the bottom tighter than the front

  • Okay, so it's gonna go like this and I'm gonna pin it in the back here

  • I think I would like this bun Wow is so you can't literally the camera just stops right at my freaking head

  • I have to like squat down to do this video

  • I would like this to be maybe a little bit puffier so I can just take two edges of it and just kind of

  • Pull it gently

  • To kind of puff the braid a little bit. Okay. So first I'm going to secure it in the back

  • They turn out hoping you can see it right here

  • I'm gonna secure it with my Bob the drag queen pin seems like it's secure doesn't it? Don't let it fool

  • You you'll be like walking around and then it'll go unlike fall off sideways. So take another pin in the center area about here

  • Jam it into the center and it should hopefully snag on to that little

  • Yo, yo, yo, look at how firm this is it's never gonna come out it's literally gonna sit like this all day

  • I could go on a ride and be like

  • And then I can get off the be like nothing change. Oh my God. Look at my hair looks so good
