  • Hello.

  • Welcome to March Seattle.

  • Eso Usually our channel.

  • We do travel videos, but recently we're doing a lot of videos from home.

  • Uh, just because we have a big travel ban going on right now, and, you know, it is depressing not being able to travel anywhere at the moment.

  • But, you know, we gotta do what we gotta do.

  • Teoh contain this thing that's going around the world and so just one kind of like give you tips on what?

  • Todo while you're staying at home to be more positive and to lift your spirits up because I've actually been enjoying staying at home because for the most part, you know, I could still go outside.

  • I could take walks and, um, you know, my dog and just practice social distancing.

  • Um, but yeah, I am at home a lot.

  • So things have changed and my routines have changed to kind of, you know, stay healthy.

  • So here's some tips on how to lift your spirits up and stay positive during during this tough time for a lot of people.

  • Every day I take a walk.

  • It could just be for 15 minutes.

  • It could be, you know, for 10 minutes.

  • Whatever it is, I would just get out there and walk for a bit because you need that fresh air.

  • You need that sunlight because you know the sunlight will give you I d, and we'll give you some positive energy.

  • It's just all around good.

  • And I usually take UMA walks anyway, so I do that about three times a day, but she walks like a turtle, so I'm not really getting exercising here and not getting a proper walk.

  • So I'll take her out.

  • And then during my lunch break, I'll go on a longer walk because I do want to get my heart rate up a little bit, too.

  • Yeah, definitely take a walk every day, at least 10 minutes a day, and it will make you make you feel better for sure.

  • Nothing that we've been finding ourselves do more often than usual is talking Teoh, our family in Japan.

  • We typically don't get that much of an opportunity to talk to our parents in Japan because of the different time zones, and I did it in Japan, so the hours are pretty off.

  • But now that we're all you know, working from home right now.

  • It has been a lot easier.

  • Teoh chat with our parents since our gym is closed.

  • We decided to do some fitness activities at home and I found this A fitness video called Booty by Brett.

  • I I really like it has taken me about an hour to finish his little program.

  • And the great thing is that Hiss program is up today and he specifically made these workouts so that you can do them at home during this time, even if you don't have any equipment.

  • So I've just been using my yoga mat and my couch to do all these exercises and they work my muscles really hard because I the first time I did it, I actually had to take a break for two days because my muscles were so sorry thing.

  • This is key and to, you know, not get sluggish or lazy every day.

  • I think it's OK to be lazy every once in a while.

  • But when you're in that sluggish mood every day, gonna get to you.

  • So every day I do try to get ready.

  • I will, you know, take come out for a walk, I'll exercise.

  • Okay, take a shower.

  • Get ready.

  • Actually, I'm going to work.

  • I'll still dress casual, but, um, this really helps with your mind.

  • You know, it makes you more productive.

  • This'll gets me through every day too, because sometimes I feel like I have a lot of goals in my head, but I just don't really fulfill them completely.

  • So having, you know, certain goals written down, well, get me to actually complete them.

  • So just, you know, right?

  • Simple goals, like if you just see anything from I gotta, you know, finish sewing something.

  • So take care of that.

  • Or you know what?

  • I really finish that book.

  • Do that or you do your taxes, things like that, little balls.

  • But you can also create vehicles to this saying, like, If you're not the type that likes to do goals, then this will be a little goals will get you through it if you have time thing which I'm sure all of us probably have more time than we usually dio is Teoh decorate and easy ways to decorate.

  • It is buying.

  • I did this wallpaper which required Onley scissors like a peal and stick.

  • It's like a sticker.

  • Really.

  • And That's it.

  • So I just got to be the size and stuck it on my wall.

  • And if I made a mistake, it could easily come off.

  • It doesn't tear tear your wall or anything, are you?

  • Take the paint off.

  • It's really cool how easy it is to put up these wallpapers.

  • And if for whatever reason, I don't like it after a year goes by whatever, I could just take it right off.

  • Elvis.

  • My wall will be back to normal.

  • We can.

  • So, yeah, it was like a fun little project I did recently.

  • So any time I get a book, I'll start reading it and then maybe read a few chapters and they can forget about it for months.

  • But this time I'm at home more.

  • I'm going to pick up those books and I'm going to start them and finish them to the end.

  • I'm not just gonna read half the book.

  • I've been reading the Happiness Project and the Euro MPs play for, like, two years.

  • I haven't finished it.

  • So this is my time to finish those books.

  • Another thing that I've been doing well, I always cook.

  • Anyways, I really do enjoy cooking.

  • But because there are a lot of shortage in different types of groceries, I have had to be a little bit more creative with my cooking.

  • It's not too bad yet, but it's also got me to learn your recipe.

  • So if you're kind of eating the same thing all the time, or you're finding yourself not being able to find the ingredients that you usually get, you know, kind of like look around and see if there's any new recipes you want to try on accident.

  • Pretty surprised how many YouTube cat like food channels out.

  • There are laws, and there's a lot of great content out there.

  • So definitely, you know, if you're into cooking something you should try.

  • E think it's a great time to start a YouTube channel a few hours thinking about it before I mean, right now there's a lot of people at home and so they're looking for content where they can and YouTube is one of my favorite streaming channels.

  • It's there's just so much good stuff out there and yeah, I get down a rabbit hole sometimes.

  • But there is really useful information out there, and personally lately we've had a YouTube channel for a while.

  • But lately, you know, we've been doing a lot of at home videos what we talk about our experience and what's been going on while this pandemic is going on.

  • And it's kind of therapeutic in a way.

  • We're just kind of talking about your feelings.

  • And it's also great to hear from other people around the world, you know, saying that they have the same feeling, the same things going on.

  • So it reminds you that you're not the only one going through all this.

  • And then also, since you're in front of camera, you're most likely gonna get ready.

  • So this forces you to get ready.

  • Teoh.

  • I like that.

  • You know, it gives me a purpose.

  • Teoh, get ready for something.

  • So, yeah, this YouTube channel thing will definitely help out.

  • It'll be kind of fun.

  • Another thing that I've been doing is catching up on some shows I've been wanting to catch up on on HBO Netflix.

  • I dig it just Disney plus, so there's a lot of like old classic Disney movies that I've been watching, so that's been really nice.

  • And also I heard that Star Wars is going to release their most recent movie pretty soon, so I kind of just waiting on Max.

  • I wasn't able to watch that this Christmas.

  • I watch a lot of shows on HBO, but if you don't have HBO had Netflix, there is a Japanese reality show called Terraced House.

  • And if you've never seen that, it's really funny.

  • It's nothing like your average reality show in the States, so definitely something you and defer to check out.

  • If you're kind of looking for something new, so many people need help right now, and this is the time to give to charity.

  • If you're able, Teoh on unemployment rate is going to Sky Rocket, and it already is happening so people don't have jobs because the hospitality industry is getting hit hard.

  • And so people that were hotels, airlines, restaurants there just tanking right now because nobody's well.

  • First of all, there's a travel ban, and there's a social distancing thing, so restaurants are closing and people can't work.

  • So there's a lot of people being laid off and they need help.

  • So if you can find an organization, Teoh, you know, reach out to and see how you can support them.

  • And if you can donate, that would be great, because, uh, this will also lift your spirits up to, because it will make you feel good to help out somebody else.

  • I do sometimes do D I.

  • Y projects, and now that I have a little bit more time, I decided, Teoh make my dog a dog bed out of this beach towel that I really like.

  • But I never really get a chance to use six.

  • I don't live near the beach anymore, so I decided to make a don't but a dog cover out of it.

  • And for the stuff being of the dog bed.

  • I just used old blankets, towels and stuff like that to fill the bed.

  • So you know, you don't have to go to Joan's, our arts and crafts store or shop on Amazon to find material everything that I've done from from I D.

  • I Y projects.

  • I found her on the house.

  • Nothing that I started to make because of the shortage of mouths.

  • I didn't have any fabric, but I did have, like, cute dish towels that I haven't used yet, So I decided to use that as my fabric and I just went on YouTube and I found a ton, I guess having been a ton a mask videos, which some of the same, a little bit complicated, and I kind of narrowed it down.

  • I found one that was pretty easy to watch and then two copies, so it doesn't require any pattern.

  • All you need is a ruler.

  • Fabric and sewing machine would help.

  • But if you don't have one, you can always just know.

  • Get a needle and thread yourself, you know?

  • So what yourself.

  • Hands.

  • So it I hope these tips help you out has made us more positive.

  • And, you know, like I said, I've been doing great at home so far.

  • Um, it's been nice.

  • There's, like, no silver linings And this, you know, I talk to my friends more my family more.

  • I need to spend time with my dog.

  • I you catch up a lot of things I've been putting off for a while in my apartment is clean.

  • So good.

  • Come out of this too.

  • But yeah, hopefully way don't have to go through this for so long.

  • We could do a lot of us.

  • Just want to get out there and one of us need to, you know, have that human interaction.

  • So, yeah, Just stay safe out there.

  • If you like this video, please give it a cock up.

  • And if you are much more videos, subscribe to our channel.

  • Thanks for watching.
