  • Hi.

  • Welcome to show me the curry dot com.

  • My manager and I'm hit, though, and today we're making an eggless French toast.

  • French toast is something that everybody loves at the people who can eat eggs, at least, But we've had so many pure vegetarians who really want to try it out.

  • It was such a fabulous recipe, and they can't because there's really no good substitute for eggs in this recipe.

  • But we have come up with something that is very, very close and so simple and so delicious.

  • You can call it what you like, but it is fantastic.

  • Over here we have half a couple basin or chickpea flour, and usually this flower is a little lumpy.

  • That's why we're sifting it today.

  • One tablespoon rice flour, a big pinch off baking soda.

  • And what we're gonna do is just sit this all together and we're gonna add two tablespoons of fine suji or semolina.

  • If you have the course of right, he just put it in your spice grinder just for a couple of minutes, and we're not the same thing, and we're gonna mix this.

  • We'll also add two tablespoons of yogurt and half a cup of water.

  • Now we have this in a nice flat dish just so we can show you how we're gonna dip the bread in.

  • But if you want to put this in a little mixing bowl in, just whisk it with a whisk that works fabulous.

  • And then you can pour it out into a in a flat dish.

  • Mixed Well, so they're known lumps in the batter.

  • So we're making two different kinds of French toast, a savory version and a sweet version, which is the original one.

  • Right?

  • So what we're going to show you is we're gonna pull a little bit of this basic batter out into the side and then show you the readings for the sweet one and then ingredients for this everyone.

  • So we have a little battle for the sweet version in this one.

  • I'm just gonna add a few drops of vanilla.

  • But if you're using the whole thing to make a sweet word when you're gonna need about half a teaspoon of vanilla about one tablespoon of sugar for that whole amount and makes it and for the savory version we have salt to taste.

  • But 1/2 teaspoon of roasted cumin powder at quarter teaspoon of gotta masala and black pepper powder to taste.

  • We also have finally chopper green chilies to taste and chop cilantro leaves also to test.

  • Not only does that look pretty, it also gives it that fresh factor to the whole thing.

  • And the good thing is about about these this matter as you can taste it because it's not growing, you can just, you know, give it a day steps.

  • And if it's okay, great.

  • If you want me to fix anything, perfect time to do it and makes it really well, you want again.

  • This is completely optional if you want, Kick it up a notch at some red chili powder again to taste one piece of advice I'd like to give us.

  • Make sure that the sugar melts before you actually start making the French toast, because it otherwise you'll just get grains.

  • And it wouldn't have mixed in well with the batter and won't be sweet.

  • So that's why we're just constantly mixing it well so that the she has time to melt into the batter.

  • Ready?

  • Okay, so we have a griddle over here and just going to put sport this mare's alone it for cooking.

  • You don't have a griddle.

  • It works just the same with a skillet, Mr Right.

  • One of the things you have to keep in mind is that you're going to be cooking it for a little longer on lower heat because it is basin project star.

  • It's not egg, so it just needs a little longer to cook.

  • So our say everyone, I'm gonna mix it one time before we start the process.

  • And we have basically, we have bread.

  • We just split it in half.

  • You could do diamonds if you want.

  • Are you going to the whole thing?

  • So press in and quickly flipped to the other side.

  • Press in, shake off the excess, drop it.

  • And if you want, you can pick up a little bit of the cilantro leaves and stick it on top, and he has a sweet version.

  • After a couple of minutes, when the bottom is turning a light golden weaken, drizzle some oil over the top and put them on.

  • It's a beautiful coating on there.

  • In after flipping them, we're gonna let him cook on the bottom side.

  • The underside looks really nice and crispy and golden.

  • Graeme can pull them up now, and these are best served right off the griddle.

  • So you definitely don't want to make a whole bunch and keep it to the site.

  • Take my little answer, his sweet ones.

  • So these are ready.

  • You look fantastic.

  • Let's give it a shot.

  • Hey, where if you didn't know better?

  • A secret shows that is so driving.

  • The happiness comes from the baking soda, even though it's just a little bit.

  • It gives it that little softness in the prince bungee nous, and it's fantastic and little crispy because of the rice flour.

  • Also correct.

  • So you're gonna have this with Get your Japanese by itself on the go.
