Chicago-style deep- dish pizza is controversial! In fact, because I’m from New York, I’m going to say this on behalf of all the New Yorkers out there: the deep- dish is NOT pizza. It’s delicious, but it’s not pizza. If you can’t pick up a slice with one hand, fold it in half and eat it before you get on the subway, then it ain’t pizza! But hey, that’s just my opinion.
