  • around from beginning to end.

  • Here we go.

  • QUESTION NUMBER ONE: pretty much guaranteed to be the first question in your interview

  • - “Tell me about yourself?” and here's how to answer it, straight into it.

  • “I am a hardworking, conscientious and loyal person who genuinely wants to make a difference

  • for my employer.

  • Over the years I have gained plenty of skills and experience that I believe are a great

  • match for the job description.

  • If I'm successful at interview today, I believe you will be impressed with my work ethic,

  • my commitment and my ability to learn things quickly.”

  • That's a short sharp and punchy answer to the interview questionTell me about yourself?”

  • that gets you off on the right foot during your interview and will impress the panel.

  • QUESTION NUMBER TWO – “Why do you want this job?”

  • Pretty much a guaranteed question during your interview: “Why do you want this job?”

  • OK, here's the answer to this one.

  • During my research for this interview I analyzed the job description and I instantly

  • felt compatible with the role.

  • I understand you're looking for someone who can learn quickly work under pressure, deliver

  • excellent customer service and also work with others to achieve your company goals.

  • Having also researched your business online, it strikes me you are a company who is forward-thinking

  • and is innovative within the industry.

  • For those reasons I very much want to work for you within this particular role.”

  • Another great answer that can be used for any interview whatsoever.

  • QUESTION NUMBER THREE – “Why do you want to leave your current job?”

  • So, if you are in a role and you're going to be leaving that to go and work for them,

  • they're going to want to know why do you want to leave.

  • Very important tip before we give you the answer to this question.

  • Make sure you are positive about your previous employer.

  • OK, so here's the answer for you: “For the simple reason, I feel it is time for a change.

  • My employer has been fantastic, and I very much enjoyed working for them but I feel I

  • have so much more to offer and I've been attracted to your company since first seeing in the

  • job advert.

  • I will leave my employer on great terms and I will miss the team, but I am looking forward

  • positively to a new and fresh challenge where my skills and experiences can be fully utilized.”

  • Great answer!

  • It’s a safe response, OK.

  • It doesn't put you in any danger whatsoever and they will look at you positively.

  • If you told me that, I would think great things about you because you've got a positive attitude

  • about your previous employer OK, QUESTION NUMBER FOUR – “Why should we hire you?”

  • So, if you think about it at the interview they're going to be interviewing lots of people.

  • They are going to want to know why should we hire you over the other people.

  • So, here's my answer for you that you can use.

  • “I believe you should hire me for three specific reasons.

  • Firstly, I have cross checked my skills and experience with the job description and they

  • match perfectly.

  • This means I can jump straight into the role and make a positive impact quickly.

  • Secondly, I take my work responsibilities seriously and I will not sit back and just

  • do the job.

  • Instead I will look to excel in the role and help your company to grow.

  • And finally, I have a positive and enthusiastic personality that I feel will be a benefit

  • to your organization.”

  • So that's a great answer; you're giving them three specific reasons.

  • You're not just giving one, you're giving three.

  • You say that your skills and experience cross match the job description which is attractive

  • to any employer.

  • You are also saying that you take your work responsibilities seriously and you are going

  • to excel in the role, and you are also saying as a person you are enthusiastic and positive

  • in nature, which any employer would want.

  • Okay, moving on to question number five.

  • Don't forget you LIKE this video please; do give it a thumbs up and don't forget to SUBSCRIBE.

  • Thank you.

  • QUESTION 5 – “What are your strengths?”

  • So, what are you good at?

  • Here we go.

  • In particular I have five key strengths.

  • These are having an ability to work hard to complete a task even when under pressure.

  • A loyal attitude and approach to work, which means I will never let you down.

  • The ability to even work alone unsupervised, and also as part of a team, which means I

  • have a flexible approach to work.

  • I am also someone who can adapt to change, and I realize that change is important, if

  • a business is going to grow.

  • Finally, I am a quick learner and someone who will pick up the job fast, meaning you

  • do not need to waste valuable time and resources teaching me the role for a prolonged period

  • of time.”

  • Great key strengths!

  • There are 5 that you can give them.

  • QUESTION NUMBER 6 – “What is your biggest weakness?”

  • Another pretty guaranteed interview question at your interview.

  • Here we go; here is the answer.

  • Whilst I personally don't think this is a weakness, other people including my partner

  • have pointed it out to me in the past and that's the fact I don't tend to stop working.

  • For example, in my last job I used to log on for an hour or two when I got home from

  • work and that means I don't recuperate or get enough proper rest.

  • The reason I do it is because I simply, love my work, but I have to remember my career

  • is a marathon and not a sprint.

  • I am learning to switch off when I get home, but I will always be available outside of

  • work, if an important job needs doing.

  • And that's a safe weakness to give!

  • QUESTION NUMBER 7 – “Do you have any questions for us?”

  • You're going to be asked this at the end of your interview.

  • So, do you have any questions for us?

  • And yes, you should ask questions, but you've got to be very careful with the questions

  • that you ask.

  • I'm going to give you three here that you can ask during your interview, but make sure

  • the questions you ask, put you across in a positive manner.

  • Here we go.

  • QUESTION 1 – “I noticed on your website you have launched a new product which looks

  • interesting.

  • Has it been a success?”

  • OK, go on the company's website, the one you've been interviewed for.

  • Have a look on there for any new products or services that they've recently launched

  • in the last 12 months and ask them about it.

  • Has it been a success demonstrates an interest in their business.

  • QUESTION 2 – “Who's your biggest competitor and how could I help you in this role to better

  • them?”

  • So, you're asking them, it's a great question – “Who is your biggest competitor and

  • how can I help you in the role to beat them to better them?”

  • That shows that you care.

  • Next, the final question.

  • What's the next stage of the hiring process?”, shows that you are keen and you off enthusiastic.
