The imperative

Woke up this morning to some of the best news I've seen in a long, long time, especially in the morning, waking up to hear that the NFL, the National Football League and two K have reached an agreement to license the product for a video game.

And a lot of people were wondering what your thoughts where your opinions D e f G, and my first thought was I don't have any opinions.

I felt like a sense of accomplishment, as I'm sure a lot of creators that heard this news that have been begging for two K to get back in the game for years to give e a that kick in the ass that they need to produce a better video game because the reality is right. 00:00:55.080 --> 00:01:9.750  Now, people that understand football, people that care about football and want that experience in a video game aren't getting it in madam and that that's a good transition to the news that this two K game is not gonna be a simulation game, at least not right away.

Neither is Madden Madden continues to pump ultimate team down our throats superstar K o whatever that is.

That's not what this two K game is gonna be right away.

And my expectations are that we're still at least three and 1/2 years away from any sort of football game that we as really football fans, can be happy with.

And to be completely honest, that's similar to the timeline I had before this news.

You know, Madden is much crap is we've given them, at least in the last two years.

And this competition should inspire some of that because two K is now coming, but I will be completely honest.

This two K game is not gonna be good when it comes out.

It is not, and the people a ta probably aren't scared of this news at the moment.

That's on us as football consumers to put our money where our mouth is.

If we want that, we need to buy this game at least once.

I'm probably gonna make a video on it and never played again because it's going to be an arcade style video game to start now.

Understand this, guys two K cannot just come in and pick up what they had on the PS two and just start making a game again.

Based on that, they might be able to transfer some of that stuff over that will help them get off the ground running.

Now you need to view this two K games, similar to how we've looked at Doug Flutie's football game and some of these other you know, the maximum football game and some of these other indie developers that have come in and try to challenge the idea of making an actual game that cares about football, not fantasy football and just selling games.

You need a view to K that way, and I'm not even gonna even defend to Kay and say that they're any different than e a a SZ faras that corporate mentality.

But what you need to invest in is that competition and right away.

So you need to know what your expectations are.

If your expectations are, this game's gonna come out and challenge mad and right away.

It really isn't but 345 years down the road.

I know it sounds like a long time time away, but there's there's hope.
