  • If the time on your La Crosse View Connected Weather Station

  • did not update for a recent Daylight Saving Time change,

  • we recommend giving it at least 24 hours to correct itself on its own.

  • If it is still an hour off after this time, there is a chance you may need power cycle

  • your weather station.

  • In this video we will show you how to properly perform a power cycle

  • and cover some important notes along the way.

  • So let's get started.

  • The power cycle process is pretty strait forward,

  • however, it only needs to be performed if you're experiencing problems with your weather station,

  • such as your time not updating.

  • Before you perform these steps we should warn you that this will erase all of your station's

  • historical data and you'll have to re-program any alerts you may have set.

  • This is regarding the station only, power cycling will not affect your data or alerts

  • set in the La Crosse View app.

  • Unfortunately though, for some users power cycling will be the only way to re-establish

  • the correct time updates from the NIST, and we apologize for this inconvenience.

  • But to perform a power cycle, start by removing your station's power cord and batteries,

  • then press any of its buttons at least 25 times.

  • Next, wait about a minute before powering it back on.

  • After this time, reinstall the power cord.

  • At this point, your station should begin to reconnect automatically

  • with the updated time change reflected.

  • This can take a few minutes, but you should be able to watch your Wi-Fi icon go from blinking

  • to solid on screen,

  • and your NWS and NIST services reconnect,

  • assuming your station was properly connected to the Internet before performing this power cycle.

  • We hope this video was able to help get your weather station's time corrected.

  • But if you are still experiencing issues or have further questions just let us know in
