hold out for.  Hold out for something. Okay.  Let's take a look at the note here. If

someone holds out for something,  he or she waits patiently to get a better deal

or what he desires. What he really wants.  Okay. We got three examples. Let's look at

example number one. She is holding out for a better deal. We say that all

the time.  Number two. The owner of that house is

standing firm on the price. He is unwilling to accept any lower offers. He

is holding out until he gets his asking price. And so a lot of times about money

you might be holding out for the price that you want, or the price that you

expect or the amount of money that you desire. Okay. Let's look at number three.

Another company offered me a lower position,  you know a job but in a lower

level. But I am planning on holding out until someone offers me the position I

want. So again it could be about a job.  It's usually some kind of offer. You're

holding out until you get what you want or you at least get something better
