• written in stone: Impossible to change or alter; fixed and permanent.
• stay in: To remain inside one's home.
• underestimate: To make too low a guess of something's size, value
• mean: Average of a set of numbers
• break: To create a new record e.g. running the 100m dash
• swallow: To believe (something that is not true)
• silence: State of being quiet and not talking for a time
• wanna: Shortened form of 'want to'. Used only in speaking
• leave: To go away from; depart
• drown: To kill something by putting it under water
• place: To put someone in a particular type of situation
• storm: To act violently or angrily
• breathe: To move air into and out of your lungs
• crumble: To break into small parts or crumbs
• shut: To stop being open for business
• tide: Way opinions or events are developing or changing
• rule: Something that is normal and usually happens
• lay: Amateur; not being a trained priest
