And out of nowhere we have a classic boxing manga being reimagined into one of the hypest shows this season.

It's like if Hajime no Ippo fucked Cowboy Bepop with the Samurai Champloo flavoured soundtrack.

You take one look at any frame and it just immediately stands out from anything else coming out.

The only thing I have to mention is that these gears make absolutely no sense.

Actual boxers can already seriously damage their opponent today.

So I can only imagine guys being absolutely decapitated with these.

I don't even know how boxing gloves would help with the force-

Speaking of old shows getting reimagined into the morern day,

Now, as someone who has yet to see the original, it's been entertaining so far.

Even though I feel like I'm missing a lot of the character screen time in favour of better space battles.

But I'm looking forward to see how the new takes on these characters stand-

You know, I'm a little disappointed because I've heard good things about the manga

and this seems like a pretty decent historical setting that definitely stands out compared to the norm.
