  • Hi Bob the Canadian here.

  • I thought I would do a little bit of a different kind of video today.

  • A lot of times when I make videos people leave comments down below, and they ask me questions,

  • and I just think it's great.

  • But I thought today instead maybe I would ask you a question, and I'll give you some

  • examples of how you can answer it in the comments.

  • When I look at the analytics on Youtube, I see all kinds of different countries where

  • people are visiting my Youtube channel from.

  • So I was kind of curious if maybe you would want, in the comments below, to tell me what

  • country you're from.

  • So I'm basically asking you, “Where are you from?” and I would love it if in the

  • comments below you could write, “I am from...” and then the name of the country that you're

  • from.

  • So for instance if I was to do it, I would in the comments below simply write, “I am

  • from Canada.”

  • You might wanna leave your name.

  • “I am Bob and I am from Canada.”

  • And that would be great and I promise you that every single person that leaves a comment,

  • I will make sure that I, I respond to you and I say, “Hito you.

  • But I'm just really curious because I see viewers coming from The Philippines, I see

  • viewers coming from France.

  • I see viewers coming from all over the world.

  • Viet Nam, Japan, Russia.

  • There are so many different people from so many different countries that I'm curious,

  • I would like to know a little bit about you.

  • So if you could do that in the comments below, just leave a comment saying, “My name is...”

  • and your name,“and I am from...”and the name of your country.

  • Now you're going to have to do a little bit of work here.

  • You're going to have to find a list of the English names for all the countries in the world.

  • I'm sure you probably already know yours, I'm sure you've probably already done

  • some research.

  • I'm lucky to be from Canada cause generally in every languageCanadaisCanada”.

  • In French I sayLe Canada”,but Canada is the same word.

  • But you'll need to do a little bit of research to find out what are the different names for

  • different countries in the world so that you'll be able to make that distinction below.

  • So another thing though, maybe the country you live in, isn't the country you were

  • born in.

  • So you might want to leave a comment saying, “I was born in... ” and then the name

  • of the country you were born in, so for instance, “I was born in Canada.”

  • and then you would follow up by saying, “I currently live in...” and then the name

  • of the country you currently live in.

  • So let's say you were born in Egypt, but you live in Algeria.

  • In the comments below say, “My name is... ” and then your name, I would say Bob, “I

  • was born in Egypt.

  • I currently live in Algeria.”

  • And that would just be great.

  • If you do this I promise you this, I will respond to the comment, and I will also go

  • and read the Wikipedia pages for every country of every person who responds.

  • So if your from Italy, and you say, “My name isand I am from Italy” I will go

  • and read that Wikipedia page because I'm curious about you guys as much as you're

  • curious about me.

  • I am also curious about learning more about the people around the world that are watching my channel.

  • So, I know this isn't a normal video for you.

  • Normally I have a really nice lesson, but in this video I feel like I'm giving you

  • homework.

  • I'm giving you work to do at home.

  • You need to go and find the English name for the country you were born in, and the English

  • name for the country you now live in, if you've moved, and please leave a comment below with

  • your name and the name of your country.
