• look at: To use your eyes to focus on something
• hang on: To wait for the person you phoned to answer
• out of commission: Not in working order; temporarily not functioning.
• give up: To lose hope or admit defeat
• kinda: Short way of saying 'kind of'
• victim: Person/thing affected by an unpleasant event

• back: Farthest from the front e.g. in a classroom
• touch: To affect feelings, especially by causing sympathy
• full: Containing all the parts; complete
• time: Speed at which music is played; tempo
• give: Degree of flexibility in something, a material
• disabled: Not able perform full movement or actions
• kid: Child or young person
• cute: Attractive in a pretty or endearing way
• melon: Hard round fruit with sweet juicy flesh and seeds
• strawberry: Sweet fleshy red fruit
• watermelon: Large oblong or roundish melon with a green skin
• meow: Cry like a cat
• yen: Currency used in Japan
