so we built the automatic cactus farm.

Welcome back to Minecraft Survival!

Today is 92nd episode of Minecraft Survival.

In the last episode,

due to high demands of lime stained glasses

we decided to built the automatic cactus farm

to produce cactus.

In order

to craft lime strained glasses

we'll need a lots of cactus.

So we built the cactus farm,

and we're completed!

And look!

How much cactus does this farm produced!

That's a lot to be honest!

I afk'ed a night,

I mean a day in real time.

Look how much this farm produced!

You see,

a lime dye can make eight lime stained glasses! (Dye + it's surrounding glasses)

So you say that

one dye can make up to eight dyed stained glasses.

We can craft a lot of lime strained glasses!

Alright take that one,

I don't want to waste that.

Because right now I am

Pickaxe with Silk Touch.

"Silk Touch" allows you to

collect blocks that are normally unobtainable.

Yay!

About this comment,

Because I'm a YouTuber,

so most the selected comments are from YouTube videos.

But then I realized there are many comments in my Facebook page too.

Oh I will read private messages too.

Amount of comments in Facebook are almost the same as YouTube's,

so you guys can comment on my facebook page too.

Because recently, I started to..

reply as many comments as I can.

Well honestly I never played Minecraft PE.

There are some differences in between PE and the PC edition.

But if the mechanical is similar, I believe you can build it.

I'm not sure which land you‘re refers to,

as for land leveling...

I have planned to do that in an upcoming episode.

Because did you realized that

The land is...

uneven.

I'm actually having an obsessive - compulsive for this.

So I will level the land to the a same level.

Well I can tell you that

I spent one week for this farm (real time)

Yeah a week long D:

I was really busy in real life at time,

can you imagine that how many iron pickaxes I used for this farm?

Anyway today we're going to discuss about odd for me.

We're going a build something,

It might not really related to what we built so far,

I mean it does related in some way. :P

So let's go!

Last time there's a sheep on the minecart.

And it's still there! XD

Alright! Let's take a look at this place.

You know why I'm bringing you guys here....

Did you guys realized that something is different here?

So basically I just decorate this place looks nicer.

OK back to the point. Do you know why we're here?

Well, I have a bad news for you,

that this spider farm is not as efficient as intended.

Do you know why? :D

Because the spiders stuck inside!

So the spiders are unable to fall down,

and I won't be able to kill them.

I can't find a way to fix it for now.

Alright so today we are going to

build a mob farm!

A mob farm....?

At this moment you guys might be like:

"I thought we need spawn blocks to build one?"

However we do not require one!

Today we're going to build a mob farm without a spawn block!

A simple mob farm without spawn block and redstones!

So I planned to build this a couple months ago.

ChocoWhite (A Taiwanese YouTuber)

He uploaded a video about the mob farm.

Personally I really liked one of the mob farm in that video.

Basically this farm spawns everything but spider,

and I can build it higher in the future if needed.

A simple mob farm. :D

So we need to find a land to build this...

and this time I'll build it somewhere far to my base.

I can't make the same mistake again. (Oops pronounce wrongly in Mandarin)

Every time I built them too near to my base.

And the farm stuck (Iron Golem farm, etc)

Oh yeah!

You know why we're building this?

Why in this episode tho?

We'll need large amount of bones for the lime stained glasses,

and bones are dropped from the skeletons.

In order to collect them effectively,

we'll build a farm in this episode!

You might thought that is out of order. XD

Alright I think is really simple,

we'll find a land.

Basically there's... empty.

First we'll put 2x2 blocks of size here,

Then stack the blocks up to 40 blocks of size high.

(Counting....)

There! So basically the mobs will spawn in dark places,

drop them down by water flows and they'll dead.

Then we'll collect their loots with hoppers.

But that's not the point here....

AH I DROPPED THAT SLIME BLOCK...

Now break the 40th block and place another 2x2 blocks of size.

Any blocks but not some odd block.

So to these four directions, we'll put 2x4 blocks of size.

Four slime blocks here marked as the middle point.

Once we'll done this, I must tell you something that

the four directions' vertex blocks, (Subber: I'll call it "A" points)

I mean these two blocks, to be filled with water.

Is the same to other directions too.

Right now, we'll build platforms where the mobs will be spawned

like this. Remove the two blocks below,

then we're place a 3x3 size in blocks.

Here we''ll surround the platform below with blocks,

so it will look like this.

Leaving a blank space, we'll place another 3x3 size in blocks,

so it will like this.

And we'll do the same here.

As you can see that we'll built there 3x3 size in blocks,

and we'll do the same to the other directions too.

Let's do this!

Ah there's something I must tell you guys,

I referred this build from another YouTuber...

that I am actually having hard time to pronounce his name...

Yeah twelve of them.

We'll compass them with cobblestone. (Basically any blocks that aren't odd)

Oh yeah I must remind you guys that

beside these vertex blocks(A), the corners(marked as B here) will be filled with water as well.

We have...

Four corners (B) to be filled with water .

Ah we have to sleep now.

Alright so you'll see there are four corners (B) to be filled with water,

among with the vertex blocks(A).

And now we're getting water buckets.

(Gathering water)

We create an infinite water source here,

and fill with water to the vertex blocks(A).

You will see the water flows nicely!

So when the mobs spawned, they will be dropped perfectly.

Now we're fill water to the rest of the mentioned corners(B).

Ok! Now the mobs will be dropped properly.

I know you guys thought that what if the mobs jumped on the platform?

So we'll place an block higher area to these platforms.

We're done (for now again)!

The point is I'm not allowing spiders to be spawned in this farm,

because the exit is only 2x2 wide.

A spider measures 1.5×1×1.5 blocks of size,

they will make this farm not work as intended.

To prevent this, we'll place one slab (Or any half version of a block).

Do you know why we can prevent their spawn?

They need 3×3×2 space on solid blocks to spawn.

So this way can prevent it.

And we're done (I mean for now again)!

Of course we need to build it's roof.

And we can build it higher in the future!

First we'll need walls, at least two blocks high.

So all mobs (without spiders) will be spawned!

For now I will build another floor of it.

Now when you confirmed from where I stand is two blocks high,

it is time to build a roof from there, or as the base of second floor.

And do the same to this floor.

Let's start it!

Is not done up there yet, but we can set up the chests and hoppers

like this to obtain the loots from mobs easily.

Last step of this farm is that to build roof of this farm with slabs .

I never know it was slab until I watched ChocoWhite's video,

only slabs can prevent the mobs spawn outside the farm.

What is going on? :O

This mob farm is actually meaningful to me,

because this farm is built for skeleton bones.

So right now I'm going to decorate with

skeleton's head.

To make this, we'll only need grey and white blocks,

and we'll be using wool for this.

Oh I must tell you guys something!

Because I foreseen this, so I included another lane for grey sheep!

I always thought it was black tho. .-.

And now let's make it!
