  • Hey everyone and welcome back to my channel.

  • And in today's video we are making it 10 healthy snacks,

  • these ones are so simple, they're my go-tos.

  • Some of them have an either two or three ingredients.

  • so if you tell me you're coming from this video,

  • because then I get to like see what you guys are up to and it's really fun for me.

  • So yeah, let's get into the video.

  • So the first snack we are making is this broccoli hummus dish,

  • and I'm gonna start off by chopping up some broccoli.

  • I love broccoli because it is rich in calcium, helps protect your eyes,

  • and it also helps curb overeating and cravings, which is so good.

  • And then we are going to be topping that with some hummus.

  • So I just buy some store brand hummus that doesn't have a lot of ingredients

  • and that way it gives it me some nice healthy fats and a dose of protein.

  • And then I put on some lemon juice for some flavor,

  • but it's also alkalizing which is really good and it just really elevates the broccoli.

  • Next up, we're making some chocolate raspberries

  • and guys I love raspberries. They're my favorite fruit for sure.

  • Comment down below your favorite fruit.

  • But these guys are high in antioxidants, high anti-cancer and they're gonna help protect against infections.

  • And then I'm just stuffing them with a few of these dairy-free, sugar-free chocolate chips,

  • that you can just like get on Amazon or your store.

  • Next up, we're making—I didn't know what to call this,

  • so I called it a salty cucumber.

  • But this is been my favorite combo and I know it's super simple but it's so good.

  • So of course we're needing some cucumber, which is high in fiber.

  • It's gonna help strengthen your skin and it's also a great anti-cancer.

  • But then I'm topping it with this "Everything bagel seasoning",

  • which is so good it's so much better than just salt.

  • And I'm gonna link down below where you can get some, but it is so good.

  • Next up, we're making these brownie bites.

  • This is a great little kind of sweet treat

  • that kind of feels like those two-bite brownies used to have when you were little.

  • So I'm starting off with some apple sauce.

  • You can also use mashed bananaeither or will work,

  • some peanut butter, or you can use almond butter, or sunflower seed butter, some cacao for some antioxidants,

  • and then two scoops of collagen or protein powders.

  • And then I'm putting them into these little muffin tins to make them like bite-size.

  • And then we're gonna be baking them for like 12 to 15 minutes at 350,

  • and you get these super yummy chocolatey brownie bites.

  • Next up we're making some cinnamon sugar almonds.

  • These are so yummy. I love smacking on these.

  • Plus, the almonds have high vitamin E and they have low GI,

  • which makesthey're gonna keep you fuller for longer.

  • Perfect.

  • So I'm adding in some stevia and some cinnamon.

  • Tossing those up, throwing those on a baking sheet,

  • and then roasting them for about 12 minutes at 400 degrees.

  • And they smell good and they're warm and they're just delicious.

  • Next up, because summer is coming, we are making a watermelon refresher.

  • So I'm starting off by just cutting up my watermelon,

  • and if you didn't know watermelon is high alkalizing for your bodies,

  • it's gonna help in neutralize your pH, it decreases heart disease and also decreases blood sugar.

  • And lime is also great for you too,

  • so I blended those two together and then topped it off with a bit of coconut water,

  • because coconut water has lots of potassium and electrolytes.

  • Next up, we're making some garlic chickpeas,

  • which is another one that I like to make a big batch of it on hand.

  • So I'm taking a cup of chickpeas which have high vitamins and nutrients.

  • Putting a little bit of olive oil and some garlic salt,

  • and then just tossing that together.

  • baking that at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.

  • So this one does take a little bit longer but they taste so good.

  • They kind of taste that garlic bread and I love them.

  • Next up, we are making this quick little nori wrap.

  • So I'm starting off with a sheet of seaweed.

  • If you guys didn't know, seaweed is one of like the top superfoods of like 2017, or what it's been called.

  • I'm stuffing that with my favorite veggies, some avocado, some cucumber and some slaw,

  • and wrapping that together and folding it over.

  • It makes a really quick great snack

  • that's kind of low carb, full of veggies and you get all the benefits of the seaweed.

  • Next up we're making some carrot chips,

  • which is kind of like a play on kale chips that you guys have seen me make before.

  • So I'm using a mandolin to slice up some carrots.

  • Carrots are great for your eyes.

  • It's so true what you were told when you were little.

  • A little bit of olive oil and some sea salt roasting that for 400 degrees,

  • and you'll get somewhat crispy carrot chips.

  • Lastly, we're having these zesty veggies,

  • which is basically my way of making veggies more fun.

  • So I'm drizzling them with a little bit of olive oil

  • and I don't want you guys to be scared of olive oil because it has great healthy fats.

  • It's actually gonna help keep you full and there's so many benefits to olive oil.

  • It lowers your blood pressure, lowers your cholesterol and it's just really good for you.

  • And then I'm zesting on some lemon.

  • As you guys know lemon is alkalizing, so good for you,

  • and also a little bit of pink Himalayan salt, which actually helps balance the minerals in your body,

  • and it's also alkalizing so it just makes these veggies yummy and super fun to eat.
